Ryu trains in his mountain dojo. He has been punching the planks for a time now. But he is about to go on an adventure like never before. An adventure with special effects & kick-ass moves!
 
        Shadowy figures drop from the trees around Ryu, & he knows that he must fight these goons. He charges up a Shin Shorryuken, & then launches a couple guys into the air with it. Then one of them pulls out a knife & charges Ryu, who sidesteps it. The goon is left trying to pull the knife out, but it's stuck fast into the practice plank. This plank is like one of those spin mirrors, & Ryu runs to the opposite side & hits the top of it, causing to slam into the enemy's head. Then Ryu hits the bottom edge, which smacks the goon in the jaw with uppercut force, making him lift into the air for a second & then fall down in a mumbled heap of his former self.
        Another badguy charges Ryu, but Ryu grabs the back of his head & throws him through a tree, causing it to split into halves. That dude is out cold. Ryu gets hit by a lucky shot, but then he goes on the defense. Baddies run up to him & try roundhouse kicks, but Ryu ducks them all & counterattacks with a 360 sweep, making them hit the dirt. Ryu then charges a Shinkuu Hadoken & launches it, KO'ing a few more opponents. The baddies finally stop attacking, & what looks like their leader walks in. Ryu does the 'come on' gesture, & the leader obliges, leaping over Ryu's head & landing on the opposite side. He then throws a few punches, but Ryu counters with a crane punch. He then breaks away & gets chased to a wall, but then he runs up it & jumps, landing on the adversary.
        This guy is pissed off at me, & this means he won't be as concentrated with his special moves, Ryu thought. Just then, the leader threw him a green orb that exploded at his feet. Ryu coughed as the smoke billowed out. He then started to feel a hard series of kicks & punches, followed up by something that felt remarkably like...
        "A Dankuu Kyaku?" Ryu thought.
        He was right. This guy seems to have learned some moves from Dan Hibiki. Ryu did a sweep & leaped out of the smoke. He then grabbed one of his practice boards & threw it at his opponent. It hit, & Ryu threw another one at him, but this time he rolled under it &...taunted! It seemed that this guy had a fifth-degree black belt in Saikyo!

        Ryu leaped into the air & went in with a fierce jumping kick. It connected with the leader's jaw with a sickening crack, & a tooth or two came loose from that one, as evidenced from the leader's spitting. The man zipped over to Ryu & faked a high kick, then socked Ryu across the nose with a right hook. Ryu had come to realize that this was going to be easy. While thinking this, he launched a Hadouken at the leader, which caught him by surprise & knocked him headfirst into the dirt. The man got up & pulled a small orb out of his pack, then threw it down to the ground, causing smoke to envelop them. When the dust clears, Ryu was alone again.
        "What a way to end a fight..." Ryu thought.
        It seemed that everything that proved that the fight happened, apart from the property damage, were gone...almost. Ryu found a small ribbon on the spot where the leader threw the last smoke bomb down. It had a symbol on it that looked like a sword crossing a setting Japanese sun. This didn't help Ryu much, but he pocketed the ribbon anyway. He needed all the help he could get. He went inside his dojo & thought about what to do next.
        He needed to find out what that symbol meant. A person with global ties could figure it out & pinpoint the origin...
        "Looks like I'll have to contact Chun Li & the Interpol."
