The Monarch of the Mind
by EliadS.
“I am the one who haunts your sleep, my power your soul will gladly reap.
I lurk in the darkness, your future lord; my wit is my shield, my mind my sword.
Challenge me now and I you will fall, my power is an unstoppable Squall.
I have no pity, no remorse; you shall bow beneath my endless force.

I will rise, bathed in brimstone and fire; I shall achieve my great desire.
I am the one you cannot stop; one by one, you shall all drop.
A flick of my wrist and you shall fly, or If I will it you shall die.
My eyes are set, The world at hand, slipping from your fingers like golden sand.

Shadows will cover all I seek, darkness reigning at my peak.
Life and morals are for fools, power is what dictates the rules.
Voices call within your ears, my will shall give life to your fears.
Look into my eyes of white, as my fist your skull shall smite.

The skies will rain fire, the seas will rage; I will claim you all, this is my age.
Bow to me or face my wrath; upon your blood and soul I build my path.
Your mind is my canvas, my force a brush, your foolish opposition I shall crush.
I am the terror you cannot name, and now I tire of this little game.

I am your monarch, my anger unkind, I am your master, I rule your mind.”
