Shadows of Revenge : Chapter 42

Chapter 42

** Streets of Tel Aviv, Israel, Middle East **

A car speeds through the busy streets, All but committing every Transportation violation in the book. The car is smashed and lacking a driver's seat door. Inside the car is a lone Jason.

His face is twisted in an eternal grimace and expression of great discomfort and pain. His back is wounded and blood and mechanical fluids drizzle down his back like a waterfall, being soaking into the seats, the leather drinking them thirstily.

" What the h*ll is this supposed to mean?! How could they know of my entry into their borders! How could they ambush me! Xavier is supposed to ensure my missions be covered up, and a** saved from such nonsense, and pain..." he thinks and grits his teeth.

He takes a turn stops the car, before taking off the seatbelt. He limps out of the car, it's night, late at night. And he's been dodging cops ever since he escaped them only 3 days before.

He had changed cars, hotels and more, but he was always trailed, how he hated being stuck in such a small country, moreover one with such a powerful media and very intruding one with that.

He couldn't go anywhere in peace, Police, Secret services, The Bloody Special Ops, hounded him everywhere, luckily he had radio waves to tap onto and know their steps first.

He slips into a side alley 3 blocks away and sighs, his body is still wounded, but his vital systems he had managed to repair himself with his Nano sized auto repair systems. "Master...come in...Please...Master Xavier...I need assistance..." Jason tries desperately.

His psionic link chip sends out a signal to the Psycho satellite orbiting over the earth, the beam being sent back toward Shadowlaw HQ at the speed of light, far too quick to be picked up by peering psychics.

" Why do you interrupt me Jason? You know I have more urgent manners than your reporting now..." The mental voice of the one Xavier pierces into Jason's skull, echoing and ringing loudly through him, causing him to clasp his hands over his ears.

"Master...I'm in trouble...I was ambushed by Interpol...Wounded...on the run from Israeli forces, they're too many for me to cope with alone..." Jason sends, hearing Siren and turning from the street to hide himself as a Police car comes passing by.

"So? Go to a safe house of Shadowlaw's...It's 30 Kilometers to the West of your location, I shall contact you later, I have urgent business to deal with. So unless the Sky is falling on your head...DO NOT bother me AGAIN! CLEAR?!" X's voice booms before fading off.

Jason growls as Xavier disconnects the psy link between them and punches the wall, his hand causing large cracks to form where the collision ensues. He leans his forehead on the bricks and inhales deeply.

"This is going to be one of those weeks, isn't it?" he mutters bitterly under his breath as he turns to seek escape.

** Meanwhile, Venice, Italy, Europe **

He peers from the shadows, his body enveloped in the concealing shroud, his dark eyes narrow and fix on the massive Granite mansion of the one who can only be known as Rose.

He inhales deeply, a small frown reaching his face, yet this soon fades away and leaves a rather determined and serious look.

The night air is cold and it is quite apparent a storm is brewing in the heavens above, thunder echoing in the distance. He clenches his fists and crouches lower, peering up toward the balcony of the Victorian styled building.

There she was, graceful and regal as always, her beautifully chiseled face glistening with the soft light the moon. A look that would no doubt be alluring to any man.

Yet this man's eyes remain cold and impassive, his demeanor quite similar. Though looks in this case were quite deceiving for he knew better then to see Rose as nothing more than a pretty flower.

He had felt what this woman could do on his own flesh. She almost had him the last time they fought, but luckily he had the element of surprise on his side, like he hoped he would this time.

Yet deep inside him, hidden under his extremely impressive and formidable demeanor, now clad in a black body suit made of tough leather, his heart trembled with fear.

He knew Rose's would want nothing less than her long delayed retribution. Her Indignation and past pain would surely make her thrive to gain this vengeance at all costs, and that would be the end of him unless he'd be very careful.

Yet, as he reminisces upon past occurrences he wonders, would that be enough? Bison thought it would, and his death at her hands, as unfathomable as it may be proved this thesis to be wrong.

He strokes the cool granite with his fingertips, shutting his eyes lightly before bringing both fists to his sides and rising to his feet. He looks around, admiring the landscape as if for a final time, this since he has no doubt in the world that soon their battle would probably cause emendable damage to the landscape and perhaps to him as well.

"Ok, Let's see...I can't surprise her, I can't ambush her, I can't sneak into her house...What can I do...?" He thinks and pulls back his cape. "Bah, I can do this, I am the strongest...I always was...wasn't I? Well...no turning back now...Time to fight..." he thinks.

Lightning crackles above him, and the clouds amassed seemed simply indivisible, the blackish mass thick and swallowing the gentle rays of light.

Would he share the same fate? Would Rose's power devour his own? This was yet to be seen. Fear or not, Adolph Richter would do all he can to fulfill his promise, protect the council, as corrupt and foolish as it may be, as he always did.

He spreads his arms and lets his power ignite, tendrils of midnight flames circling his limbs like serpents, coiling around him and licking against his skin with their heat, his aura expanding around him.

** Meanwhile Shadowlaw main facility, Bowels of one of the large mountains of Thailand, Asia **

"My Lord, you summoned me?" A deep male voice speaks humbly. The bearer of this voice being a 6'2 man, probably in his thirties, clad in a Commando-like camoflauge uniform. His raven eyes gleam with blind and perhaps zealous obideince, added to a quite apparent amount of awe as he gazes at his master's back.

He was a veteran in Shadowlaw, from the times of M.Bison's regime, and during his time under Xavier he had learned to respect and believe in the young man. He was one of his trusted advisors and had a knack for doing as said to the detail, and only stray from the plans minimally when it can't be helped.

"Yes Reeve, I have a mission for you..." The ever calm and cold voice of Xavier Bison speaks, the tone wisping by like the cold tendrils of the winds of winter. He stands with his hands crossed before the huge monitor of the main control room. "Reeve, what do see?" Xavier asks as he motions to the monitor before him.

Reeve follows X's gaze and scans the monitor quizzically. "I see...an enlargement of the Israeli map and a glowing red dot somewhere in Tel Aviv" Reeve states calmly, inwardly hoping he's right to gain some browny points with his lord.

"That's correct Reeve, do you know why I'm showing you this?" X asks calmly, turning his head halfway toward Reeve, his purple brow quirking upward leaving his facade as a questioning one.

"Jason is there. Perhaps, you want me to assist him?" Reeve asks.

"You are correct, you are wiser as you give yourself credit, I am glad to have a man of your skill on my side Reeve, make sure you keep on this track, yes? " X muses as he turns fully to Reeve looming over him in his intimidating form, Reeve only able to nod solemly at the subtle threat.

"What I want you to do is..." X says before sending Reeve the information mentally. Burning it into his memory so he doesn't forget even a single detail, his eyes glittering in soft violet for a few seconds before his mental transfusion ends.

Reeve nods and bows lightly "I understand master...It shall be done" he says humbly and titls his head down in an honoring gesture. X nods and waves his hand in a dismissing manner "Be sure it is, now leave, and remember, wait for the signal," X says and turns back to his monitors.

"Yes Lord Xavier!" Reeve says and salutes before leaving the control room. He paces through the metallic corridors and his face reveals his mind boggled with thought. His mission was indeed not simple, and he wondered if he could pull it off as X anticipated.

This Reeve couldn't tell, but X's record shows his plans usually worked. Reeve didn't doubt X and had faith in his planning, but deep inside him, a small voice gnawed and spread anxiety through him.

Was it his imagination or were X's eyes shining with a touch of glee and anticipation? What X was truly planning eluded Reeve's meager mind, and that troubled him, troubled him alot.

** Back in Venice,

Rose is looking outside the veranda, the currents of the wind carressing against her hair, licking against her body softly, rufflng her clothes lightly. She exhales softly. How she hates being cooped up inside the dusty old manor.

She needed some freedom, how she willed for some companionship, friends, aquaintences, anything. She sighs softly before freezing in place. Her eyes once calm and serene suddenly narrow in an extremely angry way.

"RICHTER! HERE?! How dare he show his face...that...that double crossing, backstabbing, lying little bastard!" Rose thinks, not noticing the extremely bright shine beginning to intensify within her eyes.

She turns to where she senses him, wanting to make sure. She is met with the undeniable sense of his aura, right before she sees his distinguishable sillihoutte that puts a stamp on her assumption, he was indeed here.

She snarls in an unlady way, in fact, in an animalistic manner. She spreads her arms and the violent fury expands from her eyes and spreads across her body, tendrils of ki and power enveloping her with such radiance one would think she's a purple lightning bolt as her body melts into the darkness.

Ricther steps back as Rose reforms with a fiery blast before him, her body language reflecting the immense amounts of hatred, "YOU!" Rose hisses as she points at him, her face twisted in rage, her eyes now totally violet, the distinction between the pupils, Irises and eyes themselves impossible.

"Yes Rose, It is I, and you know why I'm here..." Adolph says coldly, his look piercing and his tone commanding authority, his tone vibrating with power as he points back at her, his black eyes gleaming with his own respective power.

"I'm not going back to your little sand pit Richter!" Rose says angrily, her hands beginning to catch a bright purplish hue as her power ruffles her hair and clothes more violently than before.

"Then you shall die Rose, we both know that..." Richter says calmly, bringing his hands to his sides before crossing them, his mental barriers and cool and calm exterior masking them perfectly.

Rose crosses both arms before spreading them to her side, letting her ki surround her "I don't think so Adolph..." she says in a controlled tone as she enters a battle stance.

Adolph follows suit and both lock in a death glare, their respective auras electrifying the very fibers of nature arounds them, the winds howling madly as they swirl and churn under their influence.

The tension could be cut with a knife as both stand at a stalemate for several seconds, then lightning crackles and they rush at eachother.

** Tel Aviv, Israel, M.E **

**Author's note: brackets in this part are for translations for phrases in Hebrew **

Jason limps through the back streets, his back is bleeding his vital fluids, Chunli's precision would've been the end of him if it weren't for his enforced synthetic skin. He grits his teeth as he leans on the walls for support as he stumbles forth.

"D*mn that blasted woman, She just had to hit the Epsilon drive and lower my energy supplies...didn't she? AH bah humbug! I gotta...get to that blasted building..." Jason thinks as he stops momentarily to catch his breath.

Meanwhile a man with binoculars sits on a motorbike not too far away and speaks into a walkie talkie "Hoo batvach hareiyah Sheli, mitkadem leaiver hamaarav..."(He's in my range, heading for the ambush )

"Ken hamefaked, ani mamshiech laakov acharei hamatara," (Yes sir, I'll keep on following the target)" he says and continues his pursuit on foot, keeping himself behind Jason in a very safe distance.

Jason is oblivious to the radio waves for some reason, he keeps on walking or more like limping and falling toward his destination. It might've been his exhaustion or some kind of blockade which hid the fact he's been trailed from him, whatever the case, he knows not of the Israeli agent on his track.

He keeps on pulling himself about for several minutes before reaching a large old building. He walks up to the door and opens it, the door being unlocked. The Agent stops and hides in a different side alley, bringing the walkie talkie to his mouth.

"Matara hepsika lihiyot Nayahat, mevakesh tigboret meiyadit lelekidat hamatara, maveer mikom"( The target has stopped being mobile, request immediate backup for the capturing of the target) He speaks and whispers the address of the building into the device before waiting.

Meanwhile Jason walks up a stairway and enters a small room. It has a radio, a bed and a small pair of binoculars. Jason looks around and sighs heavily in an exhausted manner before sitting down on the bed.

"Geez, I need a break from all this roaming around and killin' people, ya'd think cyborgs don't need a day off from time to time too, we are half human too thank you very much" Jason mutters a complaint as he lies down and shuts his eyes.

Suddenly the door is shattered totally as an small explosion tears it apart. Jason leaps to his feet, startled, disorientated momentarily. He turns toward the door and sees multiple figures in bright olive green uniforms with rifles pouring into the room, their weapons aimed at him.

Jason wills to move in for the attack but the barells are leveled at him, too many for him to be able to survive the fire from. He freezes in place. One of them, obviously the commanding officer barks commands at him.

"On the floor! Hands behind head! Now! Move! Move! Move!" He shouts as some troops bring some weird looking cuffs and stand behind him. Jason complies with a mutter and as the cuffs shut on him he blinks.

"This metal...Titanium...too weak to break even if I wanted too..." he thinks and curses as two soldiers yank him up and push him forward, the troops leading him quickly down the stairs and out the door.

"I KNEW it was going to be one of those weeks!" He mutters under his breath as he's lead toward a van parking near the street curve nearby.

** Outside Casa de Lorenzo, Barcelona, Spain, Europe

Ibuki is leaning against the wall, the well chiselled granite sending chills up her spine as the evenin' temperature is rather low. She keeps her eyes peeled and her ears open as she hugs the wall with her back, edging farther and farther away from the side which faces the streets and approaches the more secluded side of the rectangular barrier around the mansion.

"Geez, and I thought Ken was loaded, this woman could easily rival any tycoon with a house like this..." Ibuki thinks as she sees stone statues shaped like mythological beasts and gargoyles. "I thought crime didn't pay..." Ibuki muses under her lip sarcastically before stopping.

She crouches low and looks up, "I bet the whole complex is loaded with motion detectors and traps, Luckily I got some tricks up my sleeve... Ibuki thinks and takes out a small sphere from a pouch placed against her left hip.

She twists its base twice before tossing it over the wall. It explodes silently and spreads chalk dust all over the place. Ibuki then quickly kicks off the ground and grabs unto the top of the wall, standing in a crouching position on it.

She scans the surroundings quickly, spotting a free spot before leaping toward it. When she lands she blinks and quickly shifts her body sideways and hears something whistle beside her abdomen and imbed itself in the wall.

Ibuki freezes in place, not even daring to breathe. She looks around quickly, her eyes darting across the grassy area which is the garden before the building. "Statues...are probably full of arrows and darts, bushes with binding ropes and shocking lines and those absolutely stunning flowers packed with motion detectors and alarms... Ibuki thinks and frowns.

She throws another bomb ahead of her and sees the red rays as she expected between flowers in many angles, that would make moving quite difficult. She inhales deeply in an exasperated manner before hopping to free spot.

"Oh crap..." she says before leaping and doing a split in midair. Wehn she lands she looks behind her...and a very generous amount of long and jagged blades of metal are now stuck in the wall.

"Ouch...I guess she doesn't entertain much, does she?" Ibuki thinks as she looks forward. She sees two suspicious looking hose pipes. "I wonder..." she mutters and takes out her Katana. She places her blade on the grass suspiciously she quickly pulls it back as a burst of electricity is discharged and zaps the blade.

Ibuki gulps under her mask, laughing nervously. "I just knew this was going to be one of those missions, why me?" She wonders as rolls her eyes. gritting her teeth as she looks for an alternative way to pass the obstacle.

She finds one, but sure hell doesn't like it, "D*mn that woman! I bet she did this on purpose..." Ibuki mutters as she leaps into the air and somersaults toward her "backdoor" way to safety.

** Meanwhile, inside the mansion **

Little did Ibuki know every move she makes is carefully anticipated and calculated, nor does she imagine that Vibora is monitoring her every move from a screen inside a small room within the 2nd floor of the giant Manor.

A soft round of laughter echoes in the empty room, Vibora's face revealing her amusement as well as her tone. "Oh my, this is golden...the mighty Shinobi having to wipe the manure off her uniform and ninja shoes.

Vibora brushes a golden lock of her hair aside as she ticks on a set of buttons beside the monitor. "Roberto, Sanchez, intruder in sector 9," She speaks into a small microphone.

"Ci Seniorita! Immeadiatly!" They say and head out toward the designated area. Vibora leans back into her chair and rubs her chin lightly. "Let's see...I give them...2 minutes..." Vibora mutters as she follows them via the security cameras.

"There she is! Open fire!" One of them shouts and points at Ibuki. Vibora grins and anticipates the following occurances. "Wow...nice speed on that one..." she muses as Ibuki flips over the thugs and lands lightly on the balls of her feet before spinning around with a leap and clocking one of them across the cheek as he turns around.

The man is sent staggering as Ibuki lands on her foot once more. The other thug being too close to open fire safely tries to hit her with the flat side of his rifle. Ibuki ducks under the blow then shifts her body sideways while in the crouch and rams her first into a very delicate area which sends the thug bending over.

"Ouch...nasty, I like it" Vibora muses and grins as Ibuki leaps and brings her foot down on the man's back in a hammer blow, forcing him to the ground and making his face hit the marble, hard. He's obviously knocked unconsious as Ibuki turns to the other thug who's leveling an automatic rifle at her.

Ibuki spins around in blinding speed while bringing her hand to her hip. The man is about to click on the trigger before groaning and having his head being forced to whip back. Ibuki watches as he falls forward, blood pouring from where his face is as her Kunai's hilt broke his teeth and maybe his jaw as well. "Simply Artistic touch there Shinobi girl, I'll have to look out from that one..." Vibora muses as she rubs her chin.

"Let's see how you deal with the next set of traps..." Vibora mutters in Spanish as she sees Ibuki approach the entrance door.

** Back outside **

Ibuki looks at the door suspiciously "Ok, what could be the catch here?" Ibuki mutters to herself and looks at the knob of the door. She touches it in a testing manner, bracing herself for a shock but to her surprise doesn't feel it.

She blink and tries to twist the knob and finds it does. She looks ever more suspicious as she pushes the door open. She opens it carefully and quickly steps aside, anticipating a trap, but none is sent forth.

"This is totally queer. I know there are going to be traps here, so where are they?" Ibuki mutters as she steps into the room. As she does the tile under her sinks lightly and she gulps "Way to go genius, you just had to open your big mouth!" she mutters as many blades begin to fly toward her from various directions.

Ibuki quickly unsheathes two Kunai and backflips and launches herself upwards before ramming them into the wall while thrusting her Chi behind them to allow them to pierce the stony surface.

Ibuki pants lightly as she holds onto them, suspended a few feet over the floor. She looks at the tiles of the floor and notices they're like a chessboard, except for the first tile which is red.

She leaps down, landing on it. looking around, she notices the one she stepped on previously is placed diagonally to the one she stands on "Guess I'm not a bishop then..." She mutters and looks around.

She tries stepping forward, and nothing happens, she smiles in relief before the tile does sink when she waits for half a minute "Crap..." she mutters and crouches very low, avoiding many flying blades again,

"D*mnit! Wrong again! Think Ibuki, Think, there must be a cl...Bingo!" Ibuki thinks and looks at some murals on the wall. She grins and begins to traverse the chessboard like floor, heading toward the only place she can go, a long corridor.

** Back upstairs **

Vibora stands up and flexes her neck. "Ah yes my dear little Ninja girl, keep on approaching me, approaching your executioner...I'll cutting you to shreds for defeating Martin and bringing death upon him!" Vibora says and grabs her metallic mask.

She looks at her twin extractable gloves and thinks "If I could beat this little b*tch it'd be some sort of vengeance for you brother...as if it were..." she begins before her cell phone rings.

She quirks a brow and puts one on her right arm while discarding the other to her table idly. She picks up "This better be good..." she mutters before she pushes the button to accept the call.

"Who is this?" She asks impatiently. "Who? What do you want?" She asks coldly, her eyes narrowing slightly. She sits down and places the cell phone to her shoulder and presses it to her ear as she uses her hands to tie her hair in a ponytail.

Then she is about to put on her other glove before she blinks and her attention is diverted by the person on the cell phone. "Is that so? Interesting...Ok, I'm listening..."she mutters as she puts her feet on the table. She had plenty of time, Ibuki would require atleast 20 minutes to cross all the traps she left her, she had time to listen.

"Uh huh, I see, that's quite a sum there, you're kidding," She says into the phone, her face catching a surprised facade. "Well I'll be...I see your point there Amigo" She muses and rubs her chin lightly. She then disarms all the traps in the mansion so she can fight Ibuki in peace by clicking on a big red button on the console near the screen where she's been following Ibuki's progress.

"I understand...I'll think about it, I must be going, I have a guest here, Sayonara" Vibora says and disconnects. She then puts on her mask and exits the room. She leans against the door after she shuts it behind her.

"Well, Well, Well, Ibuki Hasigawa, I must say I'm disappointed, I expected you here much sooner..." Vibora says in a mocking tone.

Ibuki's eyes are narrowed, but other than that her body language reflects complete serenity and calm, she was indeed a professional, just what Alexis needed to truly duel with. "You know what I've come for...where's the part?" Ibuki asks icily.

"Wouldn't you like to know little Shinobi? I have a preposition to make..." Alexis says and walks toward Ibuki calmly. "We fight, whoever's left standing can have the part, because that's the only way you'll be getting it" Vibora says.

Ibuki sighs inwardly "Why do they ALL want to fight! Can't we all just get along? Guess not!" Ibuki thinks as Vibora rushes toward her, extracting her blades and approaching her with frightening speed.

** Room in the base of the Department of Internal Security, Jerusalem, Israel **

Chunli is sitting beside a large table, she is idly mixing her tea with a spoon. Her face is slightly ashen and sad. She is thinking of her fallen comrades and how the maddened maniac Jason had eluded her after murdering her friends.

"God d*mn that man, no, that rat! I can't believe got away, Ooooh If I could lay my hands on that little...I'd..." She thinks before gritting her teeth lightly.

"Hey Chun, why the long face?" A familar british accented voice speaks. Chunli looks up and smiles lightly

"Hello Cammy, *sigh* that a**hole Jason ran away, killed my troops while he was at it too..." Chunli says quietly.

Cammy puts hand on her shoulder and sits down beside her "I'm sorry Chun, don't worry though, we'll....*grunt* get'em all...one by one" Cammy says and grimaces.

Chunli quirks a brow "What's up with you?" Chunli asks, seeing Cammy's obvious discomfort and pain.

"Had a little rendevous with Zangief, the little communist pig, he was helping the wackoo general build the strike sattelite, killed him, but he got me good." Cammy says "Not to mention that self destruct explosion sent me flying quicker than a donut flies into Honda's mouth" Cammy says.

Chunli looks at her sympathetically "Ouch, I'm sorry Cam, I feel for you..." Chunli says and pats her back lightly.

Cammy shrugs "All part of the job, least I got this wierd "venomblade" part they asked me for, the boss was smiling when I brought that one in." Cammy says and yawns lightly.

"Well, Well, If it isn't my two favorite femme fatales. heh, what's up ladies?" Guile muses.

"Before they can catch up with Guile's information, a man enters the room and cuts their conversation. "Misses, Sir, my commander in chief wishes you to present you three with the man your respective agencies requested us to retrieve.

"You mean? You caught Him?" Chunli asks, shocked.

He nods. The three look at eachother and then to him before following him quickly, anxious to see for themselves if they really caught him as this man just said.

** Meanwhile, unknown location in Jungle of the Amazon, South America **

The council was once again assembled, this time in another area of the jungle, they never remained in one place, well not since they learned the new Shadowlaw leader had begun a manhunt on them one by one.

They simply couldn't risk losing more of their kin, it was too risky to leave that madman as the most powerful psychic on the land, it would be a deathblow to the stability of the world, or so they claimed, or perhaps they were simply frightened of his power and hiding to protect themselves, it couldn't be distinguished and it mattered not really since they hid anyway.

"I once again call for unleashing more drastic measures against Shadowlaw! And their loathesome little baby psychic lord! We can yet crush him!" Roberto Megano says and rams his fist against the table.

"What can we do against him! Our troops are not rallied and ready, and even if they were, you know it'd only cause him to begin slaughtering of thousands of innocent psychics and humans alike! The madman cannot be stopped like that, we tried with his father, remember?" The Psychic middle eastern looking woman known as Lena Kassidy says.

"Bison was one of our finest before he fell from grace, his boy is hardly experienced enough to deal with our power, We must stop him now, before his power escalates beyond our control!" Megano repeats

"I disagee with you Megano-San, Many warriors and psychics alike have fallen trying to stop him, your pupil Dana was one of them...if you recall my friend" the Oriental female Psychic known as Kyoko Kurisama says calmly.

"If you let me forces and retaliate we shall triumph! You know our forces cannot be beaten! We are the chosen, the superior strain of the human race! We are the most powerful! Why do we fear this single pup and his human fools! We've dealt with far worse than him!" Megano snarls angrily.

"Enough Roberto, do not forget we must deal with Rose before we can stop Xavier from toppling our power... she knows our locations, our tactics, our powers, she is a far greater threat to us, rememeber?" John Gray says.

"Richter will kill her, I have faith in him...but we must act in the meantime," He says.

"NO! Adolph might fail and then scattered we'd be crushed like worms by Xavier or Rose or both, we cannot be fooled by hope, we must keep logical and not lose our cool Roberto, stop being so d*mned hot headed and think!" Lena snaps at him.

"D*mn you all! You stubborn fools, you'll be the end of us! I know this for sure!" Megano growls angrily and rams his fists against the table, his power being unleashed upon it, the table cracking all over.

Elsewhere far away in an abandoned house in Tel Aviv a huge explosion of psionic power erupts. Sending huge shock waves of mental energy all the region, causing a small quake to pass through the country.

"Hahahahaha" A laughter echoes acrosss the world, augmented by a mysterious source. It reaches the council members minutes later, and sends a chill through them. It had been done.

"Joseph...he's dead..." John says and gulps.

"I told you.." Roberto says "He will kill us all unless we act now" he adds and crosses his arms.

"So be it Megano, you have clearence, take as many psychics as you need, you may stirke back at him" Lena says. The rest of the council nod in agreement. "Good luck..." She adds softly.

Megano nods and teleports away. Now, the true test of the psychics powers would arrive, could they prevail? Time would tell...
