** Two hours later **

Chunli and Guile were sitting in a rented car. They were driving towards the hospital to ask Ibuki some more questions, With Vega's death more question arose about Ibuki, and Chunli was determined to find out the truth.

"D*mn our luck...When we finally get a chance to squeeze some info out of that b*st*rd Vega... some assasian kills him right under our noses" Guile said to Chunli.

Chunli nodded "Yeah... and the press is gonna have a picnic on this one... They just love to rub our mistakes in our faces" Chunli said.

Guile nodded "Yeah, I can hear it know, Interpol lose captive in interrogation room due to faulty security" Guile scowled. They reached the hospital 15 minutes later.

They parked the car and entered the building. They reached Ibuki's room a few minutes later. Yang and Yun where sleeping on a couch outside the room.

Guile and Chunli entered the room. They saw sitting cross-legged in the corner of the room meditating and Ibuki sleeping peacefully.

The minute they closed the door Ibuki's eyes snapped open and she turned to them.

"The kid has sharp senses...Interesting" Guile thought.Ibuki saw Chunli and smiled "This isn't a social visit right? So how can I help you?" She stated.

Chunli nodded "This is Captain Guile, He's helping me on this case, He would like to ask you a few questions."Ibuki nodded in approval "Shoot" she said and turned to Guile.

Chunli sat next to Gen, Gen whispered something in her ear. Chunli raised a brow and nodded.

"Ok kid..." Guile said. Ibuki coughed politely "Please call me Ibuki, I'm not fond of being reminded of my age, People tend to judge me by it and not my actions" She said.

Guile looked surprised "Interesting notion...Ok Ibuki...Do you know anyone who might want to seek revenge on Vega for this incident?" Guile asked.

Ibuki raised a brow "Revenge...What does he mean? Is Vega dead? Could Sensai have known about this? I’ll have to find out later" She thought.

She looked at him "May I know why you ask before I answer Captain?" Ibuki asked.

Guile smiled "This kid's smart, She's not giving knowledge easily,I guess I have no choice, It can't hurt to tell her Vega's dead right?" he thought.

"Vega's been assasianated..." He said quickly. He looked at Chunli and saw her give him a disapproving look at him.

Ibuki remained Impassive "I see...Well I don't think so, I don't really know anyone that would do such a thing" She lied in an impassive tone.

Guile scanned her face "D*mn this kid's good, I can't tell if she's lying or not, I'll have to ask for more info on this girl later" He thought.

"Ok...So what brings you to China?" He asked. Ibuki saw Chunli looking at her curiously too. "Oh well I better just lay it on them now" Ibuki thought.

"I'm searching for the warrior named Ryu, I was tipped that he was here in China...so here I am" She said. Chunli looked suspicious "Why do you seek him?" She asked coldly.

Ibuki sighed "Its a matter of honor, I want a rematch because he beat me in the third Street fighter tournament’s finals" She said.

Chunli wasn't convined "Are you sure that’s all?" She asked. Ibuki nodded and noted Chunli’s tone. “She doesn’t trust me,I wonder why? Could she have a thing for Ryu? I’ll just Have to be careful with my words…She seems to be very aware And skilled” Ibuki thought.

"Can you help me please ?" Ibuki asked. Chunli looked at her, Gen put a hand on her shoulder "She's just a child Chunli, not an assasian, It can't hurt to tell her?" He said.

Chunli nodded "Ok...I'll tell you what I know... I met him a week ago here in China and he told me he was headed for Thailand to challenge the Mui Thai fighter known as Sagat.That's all I know." She said. “I’m only doing this for you Gen, I don’t trust her she’s hiding something…But what can she possibly be hiding?” Chunli pondered.

Ibuki then remembered something "Em...Chunli can I ask you something?..."Ibuki asked sweetly. Chunli nodded "...May I please use your phone to call my mom...I'd go phone her from the phone in the hall but I'm not supposed to move." Ibuki asked.

Chunli handed her the phone and Ibuki dialed some numbers "Hello? Yeah its me mom...I'm fine...Yup everything's Ok...I'm at a hotel...Yeah, I miss you too mom...I'll call you in a few days ok? Yeah I love you too mom, Pass my regards to Sarai Ok? OK...Bye mom" She said and handed Chunli the phone.

Ibuki knew Chunli would be suspicious now that she heard her lie to her mom. But it didn't matter now. She was one step closer to finding Ryu.

Ibuki thanked her "This is great...Thailand has many fighters I can challenge them and gain experience and I'm one step closer to my target" Ibuki thought.

Chunli was know even more suspicious "Why did she lie to her mother...Now I’m positive this girl knows more than she's letting on...I better keep an eye on her" Chunli thought.

** One week later **

After a four days at the hospital Ibuki was released and then she rested another 3 days at Gen’s house to regain her strength.

Ibuki was at the HK airport ready to resume her quest, She hugged both twins and kissed each of them on the cheek "Thanks for entertaining me Guys, I'll be sure to write and stay in touch" She said and winked and gave them a smile.

Both smiled and blushed. Ibuki giggled a bit and then calmed herself and bowed before Gen,then she headed towards her gate. "Maaan...I've lost more than a week already...I got to hurry and catch up with Ryu. So look out Thailand cause here I come" She thought.

Gen and the twins left and a few minutes later another figure boarded the flight. A slender Asian women in her early 30’s,she was wearing a pair of black jeans, a white t-shirt. Her hair was shoulder long and her brown eyes narrowed as she saw Ibuki.

The figure was Chunli. She had been given orders to follow Ibuki And report, Her superiors suspected Ibuki to be a target so wanted Chunli To keep on eye on her.

However Chunli had suspected Ibuki wasn’t the Naive Girl she portrayed herself to be, She was after Ryu and Chunli needed to know why.

Unknown to Ibuki was the fact that Chunli was also boarding the plane and was currently following her.Chunli was a professional and Ibuki hadn't spotted her.

"I don't know what that girl’s up to, But I intend to find out...Besides I think if I follow her long enough I just might find some clues on Vega's death." Chunli thought and entered the gate as well.
