"Wuahhhhhhhhhh *sniff-sniff*, agh..." Chunli yawns as she stretches turning to the side to look at the clock.
"OH MY GAWD!! I'M LATE!!" Jumping out of bed Chunli rushes towards the bathroom.
I can't be late on the first day of school, not on the first day... I can't miss my chance to see how he's doing and if he changed or not. As Chunli starts getting ready for school she starts dazing off into space, thinking about her crush and becoming more and more excited by every minute that passes by.

Meanwhile at school on the blacktop

"Man, look at all these new faces, I've never expected so many freshmans to come out of nowhere! I mean *chuckles*, they're so puny!" Ken said as he put his hands in his coat because of the morning coldness. Ryu grinned and continued scopeing across the blacktop.

"Hey Ken, you think any tough new fighters might have enrolled here?" Ken smiles at his companion and joined him in looking across the blacktop spotting new faces. "Haha, Ryu, I guess thats all you think about huh, looking for new challenges, I'm sure there are many new fighters in this prison we call school, and by the looks of it I have spotted some new guys that look pretty tough." Ken said as he turned his attention to a group of some bad lookin kids that were walking towards them.

"Ryu, the 3 stooges 10 o clock." Ken whispered as he elbowed Ryu slightly on the arm. Ryu turned around only to be greeted by a very large foe's chest.

"Well hello there fellas, I see we havn't managed to break our little bond yet have we? The bald guy grinned as he turned to see his two companions go chest to chest with Ken as well. "Sagat... its been a while." Ryu said as he looked the giant straight into the eye showing no fear.

Sagat returned the intense staredown which lasted for about 10 seconds until Sagat interrupted it. " Hahahaha, I see you have gained confidence throughout the summer Ryu, no matter, you will soon see that your confidence will be your weakness...!" Kids started gathering around the confrontation that consisted of a group of kids looking ready to fight, 3 on one side, 2 on the other.

Ryu Grins. "I hope you've trained Sagat, because I hope in fighting you again, this time, keep your friends on a leash." Vega interrupts. "HEY, your friend Fei jumped in first so don't even lie!" Ken pushes Vega back and Vega returns pushing him even harder, until Sagat stops them. "VEGA, calm down, now is not the time to do this, we dont' want to get kicked out of school for the remainder of the year again do we?" Vega grits his teeth and grins. "Vega, Balrog, lets go, in the meantime Ryu... Watch your back." Sagat said grimly as he lead his fellow comrads through the crowd and into the school building.

Ryu clenches his fist knowing that he just sparked another fued with Sagat and his crew. "Ah, forget about him Ryu, cmon, lets go inside and get our schedules." Ken said as he nudged at Ryu's flexed arm still clenching his fist, but soon released his grip and followed Ken inside the school.

As the crowd that was once watching the confrontation started to subside and go into the building, there was a young beautiful Chinese girl wearing a clean looking schoolgirl white shirt and a royal blue skirt that stopped just above her knees. She stood there in the blacktop watching Ryu follow his friend into the building. Its him, Ryu, my gosh I havn't seen him in a long time... I hope this year we can get in touch. ugh >_< Chunli thought to herself as she soon went into the building to get her class schedules.

"Wow Ryu, we almost have all the same classes man. Except for Biology, Cmon, lets go hang out in front of our first class. " Ken smiled as him and Ryu started walking down the hallways to their first class.

Ryu and Ken check out their new class but don't really see much familiar faces around. Some kids were sitting quietly at their desks waiting for the bell to ring, others were chatting in front of the front class doors. "Hmm nobody we know here Ken." Ken grins and him and Ryu walk out of the class and hang around a few lockers near their class door as they wait for the bell to ring.

As Ken looks around he spots a familiar face and elbows Ryu's arm to get his attention. "Aye Ryu, isn't that the girl who you wanted to talk to but didn't have the balls to go up to her?" Ken chuckles as Ryu see's her walking down the hallway. Her hair braided and tied into 2 seperate buns, her skirt was moveing up and down gracefully as she walked inside the class not noticing Ken and Ryu. Whoa... WHOA. I can't believe the girl who I had feelings for last year is right here, in my class, unbelieveable. *gulps* I just hope I have the courage to actually say something to her this time... Ryu thought to himself looking a bit worried as he nods and tries to change the subject so Ken won't get all excited and ruin his day by talking to her.

"Hmm, Ken, what do you think will happen this year. I mean, with Sagat and all." Ken turns his head back towards Ryu.
"Ryu, Ryu, Ryu... why don't you stop looking at the downsides of today and start thinking about on what your going to say to that girl you wanted to talk to man?!" @#%$... Ryu sighed as the bell for first period rang. *gulp* Here we go.
