Later that day at the end of school Cammy offers to drive Chunli back to her house. As they get into the car and Cammy starts it, the radio turns on. Just as a familiar song starts playing Chunli notices Ryu walking with his friend Ken across the bustops heading towards a crosswalk.

Radio - ' If only I can get thru this (I just gotta get thru this) If only I can get thru this (I just gotta get thru this) *beat start playing*

Girl singing - I gotta get thru this, I gotta get thru this, I gotta make it, gotta make it, gotta make it through

Girl singing - Said I'm gonna get thru this, I'm gonna get thru this, I gotta take, gotta take my mind off of you

Girl singing - Gimme just a second and I'll be alright, surely one more moment couldn't break my heart, give me til' tommorow then I'll be okay, just another day and then I'll hold you tight.

Chunli sighed as she saw Ryu and Ken walking across the street while the radio continues to play.

Girl singing - When your love is pouring like the rain! I closed my eyes and its gone again! When will I get a chance to say I-Love-You! I pretend that your already mine! Then my heart ain't breakin every time! I look-into-your-eyeeesss!

Girl singing - If only I could get thru this, if only I could get thru this, if only I could get thru this, God, God, gotta help me get thru this...

Chunli sighed as they drove past Ryu and Ken. Cammy turns to look at Chunli in concern and continues driving. Why Ryu, why can't neither of us express our feelings towards eachother, is it because the bond we share is too strong that it holds us apart from eachother? Oh God, give me a sign. Chunli thought as she leaned her head against sideways against the seatbelt which was supporting her head. She gave a cute little sad face as she glared at Ryu. Ryu looked who was in the red jeep as he noticed it was Chunli. Almost as if it were in slow-motion he saw her hypnotic eyes meet his, her beautiful face looking as if she was saying that she wants him now, a look of seduction. Ryu then looked down at the floor, then looked forward as he and Ken reached the other end of the crosswalk and started walking home.

As Ken and Ryu went passed the crosswalk onto the sidewalk, Ryu noticed a fairly big looking truck of some sort, playing loud music that made him and Ken's ears vibrate.

"Aye Ryu, its Balrog." Ken said as he noticed that Balrog had several passengers in his ride, which he knew was Sagat, Vega, and shadowy figure with a red cap sitting in the back with Sagat. Balrog slowly followed Ryu and Ken down the street, slowly scheming. "Ken." Ryu whispered.

"Ryu, do you have the same feeling as I-" Ryu interrupted. "When I say 'now', you'll follow me through these backyards ok?" Ryu said in a pretty serious tone. Ken nodded and waited for the signal. As soon as Ryu and Ken turned a corner in the neighborhood Ryu yelled out, "NOW!" Ryu and Ken sprinted towards two house's backyards and hopped on the wall running across it trying to keep their balance.

"FOLLOW THEM!" The unknown adolescant shouted with athority. Balrog floor'd it and noticed Ryu and Ken balancing across a thin brickwall that seperated a couple houses, he hit the breaks to see how he could get to them, then he floor'd it again.

Ryu and Ken finally reached the other side of the wall they where balancing on and jumped off it to find themselves in an alley-way. "Whew, close call aye Ryu." Ken said as he wiped his forehead with his wrist. "Yea, still can't believe those guys are trying to jump us, its pathetic..." Ryu stated. "Hey Ryu, I noticed some other guy was with those goons." Ryu eye'd Ken but he wasn't facing him. "Hmm, really, did you see how he looked like?" "Naw I couldn't get a good picture of him, all I saw was that he was wearing a red cap of some sort, the rest was all a blur." Ken said as he pondered about on who it was. Ryu took his eye off Ken and looked down on the floor and started to think.

"Damnit, *sigh* we lost em'." Balrog said as he took his hands off the steering wheel. "You imbisell, how could you lose them, all you had to do was go around the houses!" The unknown figure said. Sagat interrupted. "Balrog you idiot, why did you go right instead of left, I told you to turn around you fool." Balrog looked in his rear view mirror and glared at Sagat. "Do not worry boss, this is just thee first day of a whole year that we can get our revenge..." Vega said as he held his claw that was on his right hand. "Hmpth, lets get out of here." The boss said.
