Untitled Ch. 13

Chun-li arrived in Hong Kong on her birthday. She went to her apartment the check her answering machine and read her mail. She unpacked her clothes and headed down to Master Gen's Dojo. It was noon and when she walked in. She went to the sparring room and found that he was still teaching a class for teens 13 to 19. She stood at the door and watched as the students went through their routines.

"Class dismissed", said Gen bowing at his students. The students bowed in return. Yun and Yang who were at the front of the class turned and saw Chun-li standing at the doorway. She smiled and waved. "CHUN-LI" they said in unison together running to her. The male students immediately turned around at the sound of her name. There eyes went wide and their hearts began to beat faster at the sight of her. They all stood still drooling over her as the female students sucked their teeth and rolled their eyes. "Boys will be boys", one murmured.

"Hi" Chun-li said giving Yun a hug followed by Yang. "Ewww" she said noticing their wet attire due to perspiration. Both boys blushed a little. "S-sorry about that", said Yang. "Yeah…we just got out of class. We didn't take a shower yet", said Yun tightening his ponytail. "Well I'll tell you what…why don't the two of you take a shower first…then we'll talk", Chun-li said. Both nodded then jogged towards the boy's locker room. The groups of boys still were looking at Chun-li and were still as statues. Chun-li raised an eyebrow upon seeing this. "Hi guy's", she said to the group.

"HI CHUN-LI", they said in unison. "AHEM" said Master Gen. The boys came out of their trance at the sound of their sensei's voice and quickly headed to the locker room before they got a speech about discipline.

Chun-li jogged up to Gen embracing him. "I've missed you so much Sifu," she said releasing him. "As have I", Gen said. "Come let's go to my office", he said leading the way.

"When did you get in"?

"Did you bring us anything back"?

"Did you enjoy yourself"?

"Anything interesting happen down there"?

"You meet anyone famous"?

"You get into any trouble"?

The questions just started to poor in as soon as Yun and Yang entered the office. "Boy's…"Boy's", said Master Gen. They both murmured apologies. "Chun-li giggled, "It's okay", she said giving Yang a nookie. "And I think you are forgetting something as well", he said cocking an eyebrow. Yun and Yang looked at him the each other. Then their eyes lit up with recognition. "OWW! Happy Birthday Chun" they said. "Thank-you", Chun-li replied.

"Could you two excuse Chun-li and myself", asked Gen standing up. He went to the door and motioned for Chun-li to follow. They walked down to the sparring room before Gen talked. "As I said before in my letter to you…I have something very special for you", he said stopping. "I know…what is it"; she asked cocking her head slightly to the side. Gen took a deep breath before continuing. "The gift is…two twin swords which belonged to your mother. They are called the star light swords…that were made thousands of years ago. They are capable of enormous power. I…"he paused. "I was to give them to you three years ago…for your 21st birthday". Chun-li looked at him eyes filled with shock.

"You were suppose to give them to me 3 years ago, and you kept them from me?!"

"Chun-li you must understand, three years ago would have not been the best time to give them to you. You would have…" he stopped but Chun-li mentally filled in the blanks. "I would have used them…to aid me in my revenge", she whispered. "Your mother would have not wanted for you to use them in that way", he said.

"Yeah…I guess you are right. I'm sorry Sifu. So…where can I find these swords", she said. Gen smiled at his long time student. "You can find them at…your house", Chun-li raised an eyebrow. "My house"? she asked. "Yes your house…your old house", said Gen.

Chun-li's eyes went wide. "You mean…Sifu…I can't…I can't go there…I mean…it will be too painful", she said trying not to let the unfallen tears spill out on her cheeks. "Chun-li…that is were they are. They are in your mother's room in the tall wooden dresser. This is the key to it", he said putting the key in her hand and closing it her hand. "I trust you still have the house keys", he asked. Chun-li nodded her head in reply. He kissed her forehead and went to the exit to go back to his office. Chun-li stood there and eyed the key. It was a silver key with a single diamond at the top. She took a deep breath and headed to the exit. Or more or less…to the house…the house she used to live in with her father before he died. She hadn't set foot in I for over ten years…now here she was…heading for it……………
