Prophecy Ch.4 (Part 1)

Since it was very late at night, or rather early in the morning, they decided to wait to get Chun Li's things from her hotel. Instead, they went directly to the one the rest had been staying at. Chun Li said that it would be all right for her to stay at her hotel for one more night with Cammy, but the rest disagreed. Cammy was slightly insulted.-

"I *can* fight ya know!"

"Yea, yea we know. But being a girl and all...", Ken futhered the sarcastic remark by rolling his eyes, but was stopped halfway before getting kneed.

"Hmph!", Cammy said folding her arms while laughing at Ken, who was slowly regaining his posture. Everyone laughed except for Chun Li who kept quiet. Guy looked at her,

"Is there something wrong? Are you feeling okay?"

Chun Li looked up, shook her head, and smiled-

"I'm fine."

Guy was not convinced, but decided to let it slide.

Once they were all in the penthouse, Ken's expense of course, Chun Li borrowed some of Cammy's clothes and went to the bathroom to change. Meanwhile the rest sat in the main room.

"Well, I guess that we can go and pick up Chun Li's stuff tomorrow morning.", Cammy said while taking a sip of her drink.

"That sounds good.", Ryu added before catching Sakura's wide eyes directed at his direction.

"What?", he asked innocently.

She folded her arms. "We have practice!"

Ryu let out a sigh. "I know, but-

He was interuppted by the bathroom door opening. Chun Li stepped out. Guy's mouth fell open. She was wearing a NY Yankees jersey that stopped at her knees. Since the neck was too big, one side slid down revealing her bare left shoulder. Her hair was down, gliding in waves to her waist. Definitely not dressy, but cute in an exotic type of way. She looked up and noticed everyone was looking at her. She smiled-

"Cammy, are you sure that this fits you?", she asked while fidgeting with the rim of the shirt.

Cammy laughed, "Yeah right! I just let you wear it cause I never did. Besides it suits you...sorta...", she added while scratching her head.

Chun Li laughed, but instanly became serious. She looked directly at Ryu,-

"You do need to be there with Sakura tomorrow. You *are* her teacher."

Ryu gave another sigh,"Okay, okay. We'll practice tomorrow morning."

Sakura gave him an "Like you even had a chose!" look.

"So, the rest of us will go to Chun Li's apartment and get her things, right?", Guy asked. -- After getting a first look at Chun Li, he finally came to his senses. Of course, meeting Ken's narrowed eyes made the process speed up a little.

Chun Li piped in, "Well actually...I was... wondering if ...youandKencoulddothatforme."

Ken was taken aback, he understood every word. Looking at her,-

"And what exactly would you and Cammy be doing?"

Cammy quickly looked at Chun Li and smiled,

"Shopping of course!", while the two laughed and high-fiving each other.

Ryu looked at Ken, both laying back and folding their arms, they stared directly at the two-

"Yeah right, like we're going to let you do that.", both said at the same time.

Guy, not liking were this was heading rushed into the bathroom. Chun Li narrowed her eyes, then took the only empty seat next to Ken.

"Guys...", she said while gritting her teeth," you do not need to babysit me. I am perfectly capable of---"

"---Taking care of yourself. We know, we know.", she was rudely cut off by Ryu's sarcastic statement. He received an elbow to the stomach by Sakura who had the seat next to him.

Chun Li was now incredibly annoyed by the way she was being babied. Doing very little thinking, she added,

"I've been doing fine on my own with Bison chasing me for the past two months! Why can't you think that I can't handle another day!"

Sakura knew what was going to happen next and raced to her room in a milli-second. Ryu, Ken, and Cammy jumped to their feets in a flash,

"MONTHS!!!!!"
