Heritage and Chi Ch. 8

It was evedent that Chun-Li was not yet happy with the infor that Mariko was
Ryu's daugther. He heard some noise ahead. He moved towards it and found her
kicking a tree. Mel didn't know what to do at frist, so he watched her. She
moved with strenght and grace. Mel's heart begain beating fast again. He shook
his head. ~No... What am I thinking.~ She had stopped kicking the tree. She now
was standing taking deep breaths. Mel him self took a deep breath and walked
toward her. "Mariko, are you all right?" Mariko turn to looked at
voice that said her name. There was Mel in his red gi looking at her.
"Mel... I..."
"Mariko are you all right?" His voice was strangly soft to her
ears. He moved towards her. Mariko took a step back. "Mel I... I think I
should be alone right now."
"I don't think so Mariko, I think you need to talk to someone. If not
me at less your mother or..."
"My father? I shouldn't of said any thing about who he is.."
"Now that what you should be saying. I know it seem like no one wants
you but your wrong." Mariko stood still as Mel talked she didn't know what
to do. Then she found herself in his arms. "Mel.."
"Shhh!!! I will not let anything happen to you Mariko." His hand
sofly touch her face. Amber eyes looked into dark blue eyes. Why did she feel
so safe in his arms. A light brease blew across. His heart beat sounded in her
ears. His hand slip under her chin and lifted her face to looking to his. It
happen so fast but, before the pair could compete the task they wanted to do
they found them self on the ground. Mariko looked up at a scary site. She
didn't know who this was but the feeling of evil chi radated from him.
"You dare!!! I watched Bison try to take the boy but now it's my turn.
You dear child aren't going to be apart of it." Mariko mind was full of
fears. "Let him go." Her voice echoed threw the forest.
Ryu hear Mariko's voice. "Something wrong!" Everyone followed Ryu
as he ran towards the shouts. Ryu broke threw the bush and found Mariko on the
ground. "Mariko!!!" Kaori ran over to her daughter. Ken came up
behind her. Mariko was trying to say something but no words came out of her's
mouth. All she could do was point. "Mel..."

The stranger was carring Mel under his arm. "I should of taken charge
of this matter in the frist place." He keep walking deep into the woods.
"All this trouble from one small boy but, then you are the key." He came
up to a cave and walked inside.

Ken was worried about Mel. It seem very evil soul wanted him but why would
they be after him. Kaori was thinking as well. She thought back to the frist
time she lay eyes on Mel. There was a feeling that was hagging her. "Ken I
have a question for you about Mel."
"Kaori I don't know if this is the time for answering any
question."
"Well if I'm right about this Mel is one speical boy."
