Bad Dreams Ch. 13

Ken just barely had time to steel himself before he was barreled over. The next thing he knew his nose was bleeding and a foot had made solid contact with his head, throwing him into the side of the helicopter. He looked out the window and saw the long drop into the waters of the Pacific. At this height they'd die from a drop like this.

Chun Li was getting just a bit angry at this Ryu character. He kept taking very hard shots and getting back up. And she had just broken another nail too. He would pay. Chun Li saw Guile hefted out of a pile of parachute packs by his neck. Guile slammed his fists into either side of Ryu's head and the iron grip was loosened momentarily.

*Well, I probably won't get a better chance*

"SENRETSU KYAKU!!"

She shot forward with a barrage of lethal kicks slamming into Ryu's body. He was stampeded into the wall where his head cracked against the metal walls.

He slumped to the floor and his eyes shut as his head fell. Chun Li sighed in relief. Then his head snapped up again.

"Sweet Jesus you're p*ssing me off!!" she yelled at him.

Ryu of course answered, "Bison..."

"AAAAHHHHHHG!!" *This is going to be a long flight*

"Are the targets in sight?"

"Yes, Lord Bison."

"Good, proceed, but do not destroy their vessel. Follow plan B."

"I understand my Lord."

"Good."

His fist slammed into her abdomen again and she cried out in pain. She was just thankful he hadn't messed up her face. Ken was pulling himself out of the crater near the door and Guile was gasping from the chokehold that had deprived him from air.

She felt his fist connect again and cried out in pain. She felt another rib go and she got p*ssed. She lifted her foot high and slammed it home. She heard something in Ryu's foot crack and cheered.

Ryu roared out something she didn't understand in Japanese and placed his palm on her abused stomach. She felt chi flow into her and a sudden drowsiness hit her like a thick blanket covering her. She slowly lashed out at his knee, but was so slow it did little damage. Then he pushed lightly against her and something exploded in his hand, sending her back into a wall.

The drowsy feeling remained and she found herself too exhausted to get up. She saw Ryu pull back his arms and in the back of her mind something screamed at her to get out of the way, but her tired body wouldn't comply.

Ryu felt his chi gather and mass in his hands and ached to let it go, but something was wrong. As the bright light of his technique washed over him he saw the bright shining orbs in Bison's sockets change to soft brown ones. The figure slimmed and took on a feminine appearance. He looked back and saw his friend Guile and Ken looking at him in concern. They seemed about to attack him. Torn between fighting him and trying to reason with him. He turned back to the female slumped against the wall and wondered.

*Why am I fighting her? Did she try to harm me? Where am I?*

Ryu let the attack fade away and then blacked out.

Ken looked over at Guile.

"Do you think he..."

"BOOOOOOM BOOOOOOM!!"

His words were cut off as the ship began to shudder.

"What the h*ll is going on?"
