For the Fight Ch.1
By RC
Adon waited in the ring. He had his head resting on the top turnbuckle as he
grinded his teeth in impatience. The boy that had humiliated he, his master,
his country, and his art was finally going to pay. Adon could see the faces in
the crowd suddenly change from smiles to looks of awe as they turned and
watched something. Adon's head jerked up. He watched with narrowed eyes as the
people in the crowd cleared for a man clad in a white training dogi.
As the man drew nearer, Adon could see the red ribbon fastened around his
forehead. Adon guessed it was to keep the fighter's dark hair out of his eyes,
but it didn't seem to do it's job all that well. Adon grinded his teeth in
anticipation and was on the verge of screaming for the man to hurry up.
Adon couldn't really decide what it was about this fighter. He was a diciple
of Shotokan Karate. He didn't look to be incredibly strong, but Adon had felt
his attack and seen the power of the man's Shoryuken. Adon new he was quick,
but this man wasn't as quick as he was. What was it that enabled him to have so
much power? Adon had thought he and his Muy Thai brothers invincible until those
two damn Shotokan boys ran roughshod over them in the tournament.
But now Adon would have his revenge. Adon wasn't stupid though. He wasn't
going to join with that bastard crime lord like Sagat had. Adon didn't need
anyone to help him get his revenge. Adon watched as the man stepped into the
ring between the ropes and tightened his brown fighting gloves. He then
tightened his black belt and gave Adon a slight bow. Adon waited until the bow
had reached it's lowest point and then had leaped into a Jaguar Kick.
Adon couldn't believe how stupid this little Shotokan was. Lowering his eyes
to an enemy. Adon could see where his attack would hit. Right on the left side
of the jaw. Adon would have laughed if his movements weren't so fast. One kick
and this puny Japanese wanderer would be out.
The movement was barely dtectable, but Adon knew something was wrong. His
opponent suddenly was no longer bowing. He was know blocking Adon's kick. The man's
right fist was clenched at his rear hip and his left hand was up in a defensive
block. His legs were bent and his weight was on the balls of his feet. Adon
groaned inwardly and felt that right fist hit him in the face like a
sledgehammer and knock him out of the air. That was followed by left hook that
nearly took his head off and split his lip.
Ryu wasn't done though, and with a side kick hit Adon in the abdomen. Ryu
watched as Adon hunched over and using his excellent balance fired off another
side kick that nailed Adon in the head without ever putting his foot down. Adon
was thrown back by that and found himself leaning on the ropes for support.
Adon was desperate and launched into one of his best attacks.
"JAGUAR ASSAULT!!"
Adon dashed foward and fired elbows quickly at Ryu. Ryu looked almost bored
as he stopped the attack with a Senpuu Kyaku and followed it up with an elbow
thrust of his own. The impact from Ryu's elbow threw Adon into the corner. Adon
knew his sternum had been seperated by elbow thrust and started to worry. Ryu
was notorious for his ability to wear his opponents down. Adon was very good as
long as his stamina held up. Adon knew if Ryu managed to tire him out that he
was lost.
Adon smiled insanely and leaped up on the turnbuckle. Then Adon leaped off
the turnbuckle and away from the ring. Ryu looked mildly surprised and lowered
his guard slightly. Adon laughed to himself and yelled,
"JAGUAR TOOTH!!"
His kick hit Ryu neatly in the chest and Adon went right into a Jaguar Kick
followed by three quick kicks. All these connected and Adon went right for his
hardest attacks again.
"JAGUAR ASSAULT!!"
This time, his barrage of elbows worked and Ryu was driven into the corner.
Adon decided to finish it and went for his favorite technique.
"JAGUAR REVOLVER!!"
This attack consisted of three simultanious Jaguar Kicks and it ws very
powerful. It was said that no one could stand against it's power.
Adon flipped into the first kick and felt it hit Ryu twice. The second one
seemed to hit oddly, on Ryu's arm. Adon never got to find out what happened on
the third kick because as soon as he flipped for the third kick Ryu attacked.
Ryu had managed to block the second Kick and had waited for Adon to flip
before launching him with a somersault kick he had learned from a fight with an
American Air Force Pilot. Ryu decided as he landed that he would introduce Adon
to the force of the Hurricane.
Adon was sure his spine had snapped from the blow and cursed Ryu. *I didn't
know he had any moves like that!* Adon landed on his head and when he looked up
he was dimly aware of seeing the cieling of the building he was fighting in.
Adon wondered why his body wouldn't react like he wanted it to. He felt like he
was moving in slow motion. Adon turned in his stupor and saw an odd sight. A
man in white was hurtling toward him in the air while snapping his legs out.
The man was screaming something in Japanese as he spun towards Adon. Adon
wished the man would be quiet, he had a bad headache and wanted to sleep.
Then with four dull thuds against his skull Adon was granted his wish and
fell to the floor unconcious as Ryu landed from the Tatsumaki Senpukyaku.
