For the Fight Ch.34

"How long have they been in the subjects room?" Bison asked. "About forty-five minutes sir." Juni and Juli replied at the same time. "I only wanted one answer." Bison said. Cammy grabbed the radio from the two woman and hissed, "You engineered them, stop complaining, you don't have to listen to them bicker!" Bison didn't reply. Cammy's brain washing seemed to be wearing out. She was usually emotionless, except right before she attempted to escape. Bison instead asked, "What are they saying?"

Cammy paused a minute and said, "Well, it seems the agent is trying to force him to do something and the Shotokan doesn't want to oblige." Bison heaved an aggravated sigh and said, "That could imply a great number of things." Cammy snorted and said, "Hey, you set up the lookout post, this is the best we can do...out." Bison gritted his teeth in anger. "Yes, I believe Cammy needs another does of my Psycho power." He pushed a small button on his armrest and said, "Cammy!" "What?" she yelled back. "The three of you are to report back to base and help me with Sagat." "Yes Sir." he heard Juli and Juni say before Cammy switched off the radio.

Chun Li smiled at Ryu. "There, now don't you feel much better?" she asked. Ryu looked down at the clothes she had given him. He had initially refused, but she locked him in his bathroom, until he had put them on. He shook his head. "Too bad, let's go." she said as she grabbed his hand and led him out of his room and towards a day of pure torture for Ryu.

Ryu looked around at the girls that surounded him. They asked him questions and giggled amongst themselves. Ryu answered the questions patiently and went back to his meditating. The trip hadn't been as bad as he thought. Chun Li didn't take all that long in each store and she let Ryu sit down on a bench, or seat in the store while she roamed. They were now in a mall and Ryu had decided to meditate.

He had opened his eyes and found about eight girls around him. They were all smiling and giggling. They had apparently seen one of his earlier fights in the tournament and were very eager to meet him. They asked him where he was from, what countries he had seen, how many tournaments he had won, if he had a girlfriend. Ryu looked up at that last question with a confused look and they all laughed at him.

Ryu was saved, however when Chun Li screamed Ryu's name and the girls scattered. They all looked dissapointed at finding Chun Li and made themselves scarce. Chun Li started talking away about some store she wanted to go, but Ryu didn't listen. He just picked up the pile of bags containing her purchases and walked with her. The next store she went to, she was in for a lot longer, so Ryu snuck off into the men's room and stripped out of the clothes Chun Li made him wear. And smiled at what he wore underneath. A white training dogi.

Ryu came back to his seat and put his clothes in one of the bags. Ryu fastened his ribbon around his head and folded his arms as he leaned back in his seat. Ryu closed his eyes and tried to think of what he would like to be doing. Ryu felt a tug on his pants leg and opened his eyes. There was a small little boy there with a sucker in his hand. He tugged on his black belt and said, "Up." Ryu picked up the small boy, who he guessed was around three or four and let him sit on the bench next to him.

The child sucked on his treat as he stared at Ryu with wide eyes. Another child ran over to Ryu on teetering legs and yanked on his pants leg. Ryu hoisted him up beside him as well and the child seemed content to play with the end of Ryu's ribbon. Ryu heard a small scream of delight and another child ran over and said in awe, "Karate-man."

Chun Li exited the store and looked over to where Ryu was sitting. And she balked. There was a herd of children around Ryu. Some were standing in front of him, some were sitting around him, and there was even two children asleep in his lap. Chun Li walked over with her purchases from the store and sat them down in a pile with the rest. She saw a large group of parents watching their children and an old woman approached Chun Li and said, "Your husband is great with kids." Chun Li blinked and said, "Oh, but he's not my..."

The woman had already wandered off to fetch her grandchild from Ryu. More parents with big smiles walked over and recieved their kids leaving Ryu and Chun Li. Chun Li said, "Well I see your very popoular today, how did...come on, go get dressed." She grabbed Ryu's clothes from the bag they were in and ushered him into the men's room. Ryu reluctantly replaced his clothes and returned to his job as bag man.

Chun Li led him to a store and said, "I need you to come in with me, too many people flock around you when I leave you outside. Ryu nodded and they started to enter. Ryu looked up and read the sign in pink and red. There surrounded by hearts he read...
