For the Fight Ch.38

"You're blood type is O right? Hey! Watch out! You're fourty miles over the speed limit!"

"Sorry." Ryu said to the doctor. "I don't really drive a lot. In fact I don't even have a license."

The doctor groaned as Ryu sped through a red light and into oncoming traffic. The doctor opened his eyes when he couldn't hear the blaring of car horns and asked, "Are we dead yet?" Ryu shook his head and floored the gas pedal.

They drove on in quiet silence. "What are you doing?" the doctor yelled when Ryu pulled off the main rode and into the dense trees. "Shut up!" Ryu snarled in anger. The doctor took the hint and settled back in his seat.

Ryu squeeled to a halt in front of the garage door and ran to unlock the door. The doctor hurried in with his bag and Ryu led him up the stairs to the room he had put Chun Li in. The doctor immeadiately set up his transfusion tools and said, "She is very pale my boy. Now as to my earlier question, are you blood type O?" Ryu nodded. "Fine, come here." He guided Ryu into a chair and rubbed a cotton swab of alcohol onto his arm. "You may feel dizzy."

Ryu started to feel light headed and then the doctor smiled at his sleeping patient. "Good. She should be fine now." He turned to Ryu and took the needle and tube from him. The doctor put the tube into a trash bag and packed the rest of his things in his large black bag. "How do you feel Ryu?" the doctor asked. Ryu shrugged. "I feel...Hey, how did you know my name?"

The doctor laughed and pulled a chair in front of Ryu. "My son, when you and young Masters would injure yourselves who do you think would heal your bumps and bruises?"

Ryu furrowed his brow in concentration and the doctor smiled. "Your friend Ken's father used to have me around as the family doctor. Whenever you or Ken would come here for a visit in New York, you two would accumulate quite an ammount of aches and pains."

Ryu smiled and the old doctor beamed at him. "I'm not sure about all that's lead me here. Maybe you should tell an old man your troubles." the doctor said. Ryu nodded and they headed towards the door to allow Chun Li her sleep.

Ken and his wife Eliza boarded US Air flight 600. Eliza had on a pleasant smile and Ken wore a very content and peaceful look. They had decided to stop for a week at Ken's house in Albaby and do some shopping. As Ken drifted off to sleep he wondered how long this wonderful period of bliss in his life would last.

Not long.
