For the Fight Ch.7
By RC
Ryu sat in the front passengers seat of the big van. It was huge, and there was
room for all twelve members of Chin's squad, him, and Ryu.
"So what is all this about?" asked Ryu.
Chin takes the cloth away from his broken, bleeding nose and looks over at
Ryu. He shrugs and looks back at the road. He sighs then and looks over at Ryu.
"Interpol sent me to find you. I'm not sure exactly what they want from
you, but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with your unique fighting
abilities." Chin told the fighter.
Ryu frowned darkly at that. Many people had tried to control him for those
same reasons. Bison had tried to capture him to make him into his own living
weapon, Gouki was constantly trying to entice him into embracing his dark
powers and join him. Ryu wasn't really sure what his Late Master's brother
wanted him for. Gouki didn't really seem to want to take over anything as did
Ryu. Akuma was like Ryu himself, except Gouki didn't try to perfect his
fighting skills. He tried to perfect his killing skills.
Ryu was tired of people trying to use him. But Ryu recalled that Interpol
had teamed with the US Military to take out Shadowloo. They hadn't completely
done it, but they were getting there. Ryu decided then. He would see what these
men wanted of him.
"I'll go Sir, but I can't promise anything beyond that." Ryu said
to the squad leader.
Chin snorted and then winced as pain shot up his damaged nose. Then he
laughed. He turned to Ryu with a smile on his face.
"Look kid, I really don't give a d*mn if you decide to help the head
honchos at Interpol or not. Me and the boys get paid to bring you to them.
Personally, I don't like them guys at Interpol. Too pushy if you ask me. Always
tellin' you it's your civil duty to do what they ask, and stuff like
that." Chin told Ryu.
Then Chin gingerly touched his nose and rubbed his ribs. He looked over at
Ryu and smiled again.
"Well, you certainly made us earn our money this day." He said
with a small chuckle.
"We'll be traveling to Hong Kong by plane. Please try to stay out of
trouble. I have to prepare a report and I can't keep my eye on you. And don't
dissapear on me. Trying to find you the first time was a pain in the *ss.
Finding you again, with half my team requiring medical attention would be a
b*tch." Chin said good naturedly.

Ryu gripped the armrests of the plane tightly as the plane landed. Chin
smiled at him from across the aisle and chuckled.
"You don't like planes much, do you?" Chin inquired.
Ryu looked over and answered, "I prefer to rely onmy own two feet to do
the traveling for me."
Chin chuckled again and Ryu looked forward again. His tense stare was fixed
on the seat in front of him. He felt the plane lose altitude and automatically
tightened his grip on the armrests.

The taxi stopped in front of a tall building. The polished windows reflected
the bright sunlight into Ryu's face as he stepped out of the car. Chin paid the
driver and he got out of the car with his briefcase in hand. He looked up at
the tall building just as Ryu was and then looked down at the briefcase. Ryu
noticed his breathing sounded abnormal."
Chin looked up at Ryu with an inquiring glance and asked, "What is it
now?"
"Are you having trouble breathing Chin?" Ryu asked.
Chin smacked himself in the head and said, "Duh, you broke my frickin'
nose Kid, what do you expect?"
"Here I'll fix it." Ryu said as he reached for the man's face.
"NO! Wait!!"
"CRACK!!"
"OOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!"
