Chun Li barged into her superior's office without knocking. She slammed the door behind her and walked up to his desk. The Chief looked up and sighed. Her feet were planted firmly, her arms crossed, and a look bordering anger was spread over her face. He sighed and looked away.

"Let me call you back." he said as he hung up the phone.

"Is there a problem Miss Li?"

"There is. Agent Morrison left his post in the containment room."

"Is that what this is about? The man has been on duty for three hours..."

"I have always respected you Sir. As my superior and as a friend of my father. Please, what is going on?"

He sighed again and leaned forward in his chair to rest his elbows on the desk.

"I trust our boy Ryu handled Walker and Strife."

Chun Li's eyes narrowed and she placed her hands on the desk.

"He did. They have second degree burns and concussions, along with half of the other men in the containment unit. What exactly were they doing in there?"

"Thet were testing Ryu. They are two of our best hand to hand combatants. I needed to see how good he really was."

Chun Li backed away in confusion.

"And why would you need to know that?" she asked.

He stood up and buttoned his suit jacket. He walked around the desk and put a hand on her shoulder.

"I will tell you soon. For now please escort Ryu to the interrogation room."

Chun Li bit back an angry retort and nodded before leaving the room.

Ryu studied the massive steel restraints they had put him in. He might be able to blow them off using a ki blast, but he was in enough trouble already. The shrapnel would also cut him to bits. He sighed and leaned back on the steel bench, intending to attempt to sleep, when he heard footsteps approaching his door. The harsh grating sound of the door opening set his teeth on edge.

"Get up."

Ryu complied and walked out of the small cell. He detected movement behind him right before the butt of a gun slammed into his kidney. Ryu took the pain without a grimace and whirled on the lone guard.

he snarled in Japanese.

The guard's Japanese was rusty, but he got the idea. He backed up a step and nodded at the door.

"Move."

Ryu turned and walked through the doorway.

Ryu stopped in front of the doorway and the guards opened the door for him. He was guided in and led to a chair. Across the table was an old Chinese man and the woman who had arrested him. There were only two guards in the room, but both their weapons were trained on him.

"Hello Ryu. My name is Chan and I trust you have already met Agent Li. I have a few things to ask you."

Ryu kept a blank look on his face.

The old man frowned and turned to one of the guards. Show the translator in.

"No." Chun Li said.

"Excuse me Chun Li..." the chief said with anger slightly evident on his face.

Chun Li looked over at Ryu and her eyes hardened.

"He speaks perfect English, perhaps he was waiting for one of the guards to be distracted."

Ryu looked closely at the woman and frowned. She was young, too young to be an Interpol agent, leading swat teams. She was familiar.

"I don't suggest you try anything Ryu. These guards will shoot you if they are provoked."

Ryu glared and ground out a harsh string of words. He hadn't spoken English in a long time and it angered him that this woman apparently knew some things about him.

"What the hell do you want from me?"
