The next day in the stadium…

Eliza, Chun Li, and Cammy are having rehearsal for their tomorrow concert. “Alright, that’s it, move, left, left, forward, now turn !!” – their dance choreographer. “No, no, no, Chun Li, its not like that, shess, what happen to you today ? You’ve done dozens mistakes in an hour. Concentration, girl, come on.”

“She’s in the bad mood today, eh ?” – whispered Chun Li to Cammy.

“Maybe, but she’s right, you’re a bit loose on the head today, what happened ?” – Cammy.

“Nothing, lets continue.” – Chun Li.

In Hotel X, where Ryu and Sean stay…

After morning training with Sean and a quick swimming, Ryu goes to the receptionist to check for the pass. After he gets it, he goes for shower, changes clothes and ready to go. “Where’re you going, boss ?” – Sean.

“Just someplace, Sean, no need to wait for me for the convention, you just go ahead ok !” – Ryu, winks at Sean. He then goes out without waiting for Sean’s answer.

In stadium…

‘What happen to me ? why can’t I concentrate ? I kept thinking of him. It feels like empty inside of me if I don’t see him’ - Chun Li, while she dances.

“No, Chun Li, no, geezzz, won’t do like this. Take a 15 minutes break girls, and Chun Li, I want a word with you.” – the dance choreographer.

“Uh oh, bad sign.” – Cammy.

“Shh !! Cammy !!” – Eliza, elbowing Cammy on her ribs.

Chun Li, and the dance choreographer went to a place for talk. “Alright Chun Li, what happen ? You’re not yourself today. Are you sick or something ?”

“No, Rose, I’m not sick. Its just, hmm… I don’t know.” – Chun Li.

“You’re thinking about that guy, Ryu, right ?” – Rose.

“How did you know ?” - Chun Li, surprised.

“I’ve got good ears, you know.” – said Rose, smiling.

“Well, yeah, you’re right. I was thinking about Ryu while I was dancing, I don’t know why, but I just can’t concentrate on the dance. Sorry Rose.” – Chun Li.

“No need to apologize, just remember to concentrate while we rehearsing or you can forget about the concert tomorrow, I don’t want you go on the concert like this ok ? Ignore the thought him for a while, later, you got lots of time, Right now I want you to concentrate on rehearsal. Can you do that ?” – Rose.

“Yeah, I guess I can. I’ll try.” – Chun Li.

“Good girl, by the way, tell me about your date with this guy.” – Rose, with naughty smile.

“Rose !!!”- Chun Li, smiles too.

After the talk and rest, they get back on the rehearsal again, this time, Chun Li tries to concentrate more on the dance. A while later, Ryu arrives at the stadium, shows his pass to the guard, and goes to the rehearsal place. He gets in quietly and takes a seat on the back row, close enough to look on the stage without bugging the rehearsal. He is impressed on the way the CEC dance, coordinated, swift, agile, and full of spirit. Unconsciously, he claps his hands after the dance is over, causing everyone to turn on him.

“Umm… I’m sorry, didn’t meant to disturb…” – Ryu, his face turns red.

Rose and the ECC girls smiles and giggles looking at Ryu who looks funny and embarrassed. “Don’t worry, you’re not disturbing. Alright girls, take a break, 10 minutes.” – Rose, winks at Chun Li.

Chun Li quickly goes to Ryu, “Hi Ryu, how are you ?”

“Okay. That dance was very good, Chun Li, so full of spirit.” – Ryu.

“Really ? Thanks. Hmm… is it just me, or you always dress so nicely ?” – Chun Li.

“Me ? I never wore a dress before in my life.” – Ryu, grins.

“Aww, you know what I meant. How long have you been here anyway ?” – Chun Li.

“Maybe just about 20 minutes ago. Hmmm… how long is this rehearsal gonna be ?” – Ryu.

“I don’t know, maybe until evening, about 4 or 5, why ?” – Chun Li.

“Nothing, just if you finish a bit early, I want to ask you to go out again.” – Ryu.

“Well, I can go out tonight, why not ? Where do you plan to take me ?” – Chun Li.

“Umm… I haven’t decided yet, but I think since you finish that late, maybe just next time. I mean when you’re not tired or when you have time.” – Ryu.

“Hehehe, so sweet of you to think about that, but its okay, really. We used to go out after rehearsal until midnight, even when we have a concert on the next day. But its up to you, do you really want to cancel your plan for today ? ‘coz we might not have time to go out again.” – Chun Li.

“Eh ? How come ?” – Ryu.

“Because, we usually leave on the next day after concert. So…” – Chun Li, shrugged.

“Umm… in that case, okay, but are you sure, you’ll be fit tomorrow ? I don’t want to spoil your concert.” – Ryu.

“I’ll be okay tomorrow, trust me. And to prove that, you’ll be invited by me to see our concert, how ‘bout that ?” – Chun Li.

“Woww, personal invitation to CEC concert from you ? Of course I will go. Nothing can stop me to come, hehehe.” – Ryu.

“Alright, then, so are we going to go out tonight ?” – Chun Li.

“Okay, it’s a date, I’ll wait here.” – Ryu.

“You will ? Okay, then I’ll see you again after rehearsal. Umm… I have to get back.” – Chun Li.

“Alright, see you then.” – Ryu.

That night, Ryu and Chun Li go out on a date again. This time, Ryu takes her to a bit more fancy restaurant, and then goes to nightclub for a few rounds of dance. After dancing, they decide to go for a walk on a park near Chun Li’s hotel.

“Ryu, I’m really so happy tonight, thank you.” – Chun Li.

“Why thank me ? I’m should be the one who thank you, you make this date really fun.” – Ryu.

“Really ? Well, I’m glad that both of us have fun.” – Chun Li.

After a moment of silent and walk.

“Ryu, can I ask you something ?” – Chun Li.

“Why not ? As long as its not about my body size.” Ryu, grins.

Chun Li smiles. “No, its not. Umm… just want to know, do you have a girlfriend ?”

“Well, I did have one, but we broke up.” – Ryu.

“Ohh, I’m sorry.” – Chun Li.

“No, that’s okay. How ‘bout you ? A pretty girl like you must have a boyfriend.” Asked Ryu trying to fish out some information casually.

“No, I don’t have a boyfriend.” – Chun Li.

“You’re kidding me ?” – Ryu.

“No, I’m not. I’m serious, I guess I’m just not ready, or haven’t found the right one yet, or maybe too busy with my career.” – Chun Li.

‘Hmmm… this means I got a chance with her’ thought Ryu.

They walk past a playground on the park. They play swings for a while, chatting, and then they go back to Chun Li’s hotel. Being a gentleman as always, Ryu walk her until in front of her room.

“Well, this is it. Umm… good night, Chun Li.” – Ryu.

“Good night Ryu, and thank you once again. Don’t forget to come tomorrow, ok.” – Chun Li.

“I will, and I will cheer the loudest for you.” – Ryu.

“Hmm… okay, then don’t forget to bring a megaphone.” – Chun Li, giggles. She gives Ryu a kiss on the cheek then gets into her room.

‘Hmm… Another good night sleep and dream.’ thought Ryu as he return to his hotel.

On the next day, in the afternoon.

‘Hmm… what should I wear ?’ thought Ryu while he’s trying to decide what to wear for going to the concert. He smiles ‘Look at me… I’m look like a fresh teenager going for the first date.’ he chuckles, at last he settled with white T-shirt, black jeans and black jacket ‘Simple but nice’ he thought.

Suddenly Sean came in “Going for another date, boss ?”

“You can say that. Actually, I’m invited to CEC concert tonight.” – Ryu.

“Oh wow, cool, can I come with you too ?” – Sean.

“Well, I don’t mind, we can try to get in using my pass. But I thought you got a date with Miss Ling ?” – Ryu.

“Oh yeah, I forgot. Hmmm… which one should I go ?” – Sean.

“Up to you, c’mon decide quickly, I don’t wanna be late to the concert.” – Ryu.

“Aww…all right, I’ll call Miss Ling first to cancel our date.” – Sean, he picks up the phone.

“And I thought you like her ?” - Ryu teasing Sean.

“Aww, c’mon boss, don’t… Oh hello, operator ? Can you get me room 211 please… miss Ling… yup, thank you…” Silent a moment. “Hi Ling Ling, umm… listen, about the date tonight… err… something came up, my boss asked me to go with him for some business…” Gets a light punch by Ryu. “So… alright, you understand, thanks a lot… hmmm how about tomorrow night ? Okay, great, it’s a date. Bye.”

Ryu shook his head looking at Sean “Someday you’re gonna be sorry for being a playboy. By the way, you owe me one for using me as your excuse.”

“Hehehe, sorry boss, that’s the only excuse I can think of at the moment.” – Sean.

“Alright, come on. We have to go now.” – Ryu.

“Okay.” – Sean.

In the stadium backstage…

Chun Li looks very nervous, she kept walking while doing her hair, causing her hair stylist furious “Chun Li, can you just stop walking for a minute ? I can’t do your hair if you keep walking like this.” Finally she stops walking and sit down.

Eliza looks at her, smiles and tap her shoulder “Don’t worry Chun Li, he’ll come, you know.”

“Huh, who do you mean ? I’m just a bit nervous before the concert.” – Chun Li tries to hide her feeling unsuccessfully.

“You know what I meant. In fact he’s coming now.” – Eliza, pointing at the door.

“Ryuuu !!!” – Chun Li, as she gets up and run to Ryu, causing her hair stylist to freak up.

“Hi Chun Li, how are you ?” – Ryu.

“I’m fine, thanks, so you come ?” – Chun Li.

“What do you mean by that ? Of course I come. A man must keep his own words.” – Ryu, smiles.

“Hehehe, really ? Anyway, who is he ?” – Chun Li, looking at Sean.

“Ohh, Chun Li, meet my secretary and my best karate student, Sean. Sean, this is Chun Li.” – Ryu.

“Hi, how are you Miss Li ?” – Sean.

“Hi too Sean, nice to meet you. So you’re Ryu’s student. Ryu told me a lot about you.” – Chun Li.

“Really? I hope its the good ones. And he also told me a lot about you Miss Li.” – Sean.

“Please, call me Chun Li. Well, lets see, he told me that you’re a very good person and diligent too, but also a playboy.” – Chun Li, winks at Ryu.

“I prefer a charming guy.” – Sean smiles “And I can’t call you by your name Miss Li, it’ll be not polite, you’re older than me.”

“Aww, that’s alright, or… just call me Li Cie Cie (Sister Li), is that okay ?” – Chun Li.

“Alright.” – Sean.

“Are you ready for the concert Chun Li ?” – Ryu.

“Oh, just after my hairdo done. Jade, what are you doing ? You’re suppose to do my hair, not sit there like nothing to do.” – Chun Li to her hair stylist. Cammy and Eliza just smiles looking at Jade shakes her head and can’t say a word.

Ryu also introduce Sean to the other two CEC members “Sean, this is Eliza, the main singer, and that is Cammy White.”

“Hi Miss Eliza, Miss Cammy, how are you ?” – Sean nods at the two girls.

“My, my. Ryu, you do have a good secretary and student.” – Cammy.

“Just be careful, he’s a playboy.” – Ryu, grins.

“Ohh, are you, Sean ?” – Cammy, teasing Sean.

“I prefer the phrase charming guy.” – Sean, grins.

“Hehe, cute. And I suppose a ‘charming guy’ like you don’t have a girlfriend yet ?” – Cammy.

“No Miss Cammy, I don’t have a girlfriend, no time for that if you work with boss Ryu.” – Sean, look around, hoping that Ryu won’t punch him for what he said, but Ryu already gone chatting with Chun Li and Eliza.

“Poor you, but I don’t believe it. A cute guy like you must have dating lots of girls.” – Cammy.

“Well, I didn’t say I don’t have tome for dating girls, hehehe, I just said that I don’t have time to have a girlfriend.” – Sean.

“Smartmouth. I wonder how Ryu keeps up with you.” – Cammy smiles.

Just then, Rose came, and asked them to get ready, because the opening group has finished their performance. The CEC girls quickly get up and ready to roll. Just before they get out, Chun Li gives Ryu a kiss on the cheek.

“Good luck Chun Li, make them roll.” – Ryu.

“Oo, don’t you dare to think that I won’t, hehehe.” – Chun Li.

They then get on to the stage, as they get on, the crowd cheer and cheer like mad, like their cheers are going to torn down the stadium. They start with their first hit ‘I’m Yours Forever’ (Author: heck, don’t ask me how to sing it, this is just an imaginary song, ok.), then continue with some of their hits. The crowd is like being hypnotized by their song, they really dance when the ECC sang dance songs, and quiet when they sang slow songs. And that’s not only happen on the front line, but also what happened at the back rows. Eventually they sing Ryu’s favorite song ‘Where Are You My Love?’

After the song finished, Ryu just realize that he cries, only a bit, but he was so touched by the song and the way Chun Li sang the song (Author: the main reason why this song is his favorite is because Chun Li is the main singer in this song.). After the song, they sing another three songs then the concert is finished. And the cheer from the crowd is madder than before.

After the concert the CEC girls, Ryu and Sean went back to CEC’s hotel, they chat, joke and play some games together until almost midnight. Then Ryu and Sean have to force themselves to go back to their hotel. Ryu and Sean promise the girls to see them on the airport tomorrow.

The next day at the airport…

The girls are waiting for their flight, and for the boys who’re apparently late. So they talk about the boys. “So, what do you think Chun Li ?” – Cammy.

“Huh ? what do you mean ?” – Chun Li.

“You know what I meant, about your relation with Ryu. Are you going to continue it ?” – Cammy.

“I… I don’t know, I mean, I want to, I like him a lot, but what about him ? I mean the fact that we’re not in the same country.” – Chun Li.

“That can be arranged Chun Li, you can go to Japan or maybe he can lives in Hong Kong.” – Eliza.

“Well, that’s true, but I have to see what’s his plan first, I mean I can’t force him to continue our relation, right ?” – Chun Li.

“That’s true, we’ll see. Ah, here they come now.” – Eliza as she saw Ryu and Sean running toward them.

“Sorry we’re late, traffic jam.” – Ryu.

“That’s okay, at least you guys come.” – Chun Li.

Ryu is about to say something but before he says it, suddenly there is a call for CEC’s flight.

“Oh, there’s our flight.” – Chun Li.

“Umm… Chun Li, can I talk with you for just a minute ?” – Ryu.

“Okay.” – Chun Li. As they moved a bit away.

After they moved far enough, Ryu holds Chun Li’s hands “Well, I guess this is it.” – Ryu.

“Yeah.” – Chun Li, smiles sadly. ‘I guess I was hoping too much.’ She thought.

Ryu then put something on Chun Li’s hand, a red bandanna, the one he wears in practice. “This is for you, so you won’t forget me.”

Tears welled up in Chun Li’s eyes “Oh Ryu, thank you. I won’t forget you. You made me really happy in these few days.” She then takes out something from her pocket, and puts it on Ryu’s hand, a blue silk hair ribbons. “And this is for you, Ryu.”

Ryu feels his eyes wet, but didn’t want Chun Li to see his sadness, so he hugs Chun Li, and closes his eyes. Chun Li cannot hold her tears any longer and she cries on Ryu’s chest.

No one says a word after that, each knows each other feelings. Then the last call for boarding is announced. Ryu and Chun Li then release their hug. “I have to go, that’s the last call.” – Chun Li.

“Yeah, good bye Chun Li. I’m gonna miss you.” – Ryu.

“I will miss you too, Ryu. Good bye.” – Chun Li.

Ryu then say good bye to the other CEC members and also Rose. After the CEC group went through the gate and can’t be seen any longer. Ryu whispered to himself “I will come for you Chun Li, wait for me.”
