Scary Story Prologue

It was a rainy and dreadful night. A child, about six years old, running toward a crowd near the sidewalk. The child is crying doesn’t want to believe what just happened, a hit and run accident killing the child’s father instantly.

The child ran through the crowd, quickly kneeled down near the father and cried. “Father, father !! Please, open your eyes !! Father, father !!!” The child called and called but no answer came out from the mouth of the loved one. The crowd shook their heads in pity, letting go a sentence of mourning, but that was all.

Then the ambulance and the police came. The crowd opened a way for the medical crews and the police officers to take care of the incident. They check the child’s father condition and shook their heads. One of the crews signaled for his friends to took care of the child. They embraced the child, but the child shoved them away and started to screaming and attacking the medic crews, but what was the meaning of six years old child compared to a grown man. The medic crews easily got a hold on the child and injected a dose of sedative to calm the child. Already exhausted and the sedative had taken control of the child’s nerves. Before the child collapsed into the darkness, the child whispered “Father… I will avenge you.”
