Chun-li's head rested on Ryu's shoulder as she slept. Kissing her head lightly, he reached for the remote and turned on the TV. Sports. If it weren't for the bet he had with Liu, he wouldn't be watching sports now.

"Yeah the Giants won!" Ryu smiled and made a noiseless cheer as not to awaken his wife. Deciding it was time for he and Chun-li to go to bed, he reached for the remote again. Just before he turned off the TV the reporter began to talk of a war. Ryu lowered the remote as the screen filled with horrors of children crying, begging their parents to wake up. Shots of dying children and men begging for the mercy of their families as soldiers held their wives and children at gunpoint.

Ryu straightened his back, his eyes filled with anger towards the people who would do such a horrible thing. Just then the reporter spoke. " I'm Bill Watson here at Shadowloo where general Bison has stirred up a war." Ryu shot up off of the couch at the mention of Bison's name; the sleeping Chun-li flopped down on the couch.

" What the fu.." Yelled Chun-li, stopping when Ryu held up his hand for her to be quite.

" The greatest tragedy to hit Shadowloo since Bison's last attack, where nearly ten thousand died in a year. This time, hopefully will be different, when the US joins with Shadowloo to fight against general Bison." The screen switched from the reporter to a man in a US army suit. " The US army will not be the only Military branch to join Shadowloo." Said the man with a deep scratchy voice. " The Navy, Marines, and the Airforce will also be joining up with the Shadowloo forces." The screen switched back to the reporter.

" Right now the Shadowloo authorities believe Bison is moving westward toward the US. We don't know if this information is true, but whatever nation general Bison decides to wreck havoc on the US will be defending them one hundred percent. This is Bill Watson in Shadowloo for the channel six news, Katie back to you."

Ryu unconsciously turned off the television, forgetting that the remote had been in his hand. He turned to look at Chun-li who was standing next to him, looking as shocked as he was.

" Liu." He whispered as his expression turned to one of fear.

" What's wrong Ryu?" Chun-li asked, her expression just as worried as his.

" Nothing, its' nothing Li. We should warn the others."

" Now?"

" Yes, now!"

"But its' three o'clock in the morning!" Chun-li whined.

" Chun-li, if we don't warn them they may not be able to meet us tomorrow." Explained Ryu a little irritated.

" Meet us for what?" asked Chun-li quizzically.

" Sweetheart, if we meet them tomorrow at our house we can talk about this problem that the world is having and we might be able to stop Bison from his Pshyco quest for power."

Chun-li nodded as she walked over to the phone.

" Bison's at it again?" Ken exclaimed.

" Unfortunately, yes and if we leave to China now we may be able to stop his reign of terror." Ryu clarified.

" Ryu, a lot of people are either out of the US or in other states." Eliza, Ken's wife explained. "Charlie is in Paris, Dhalsim is in India, Zangief is in Russia, Guy, Honda d are in Japan, Gen is in China. No one knows where T. Hawk is, Fei Long is doing a movie somewhere, Balrog and DeeJay are in Los Vegas. And I'm sure Akuma, Vega, Sagat, Adon will be joining Bison. Chun-li, Ling can fight right?"

Chun-li rolled her eyes, "Yes, very well; but she isn't going with us Eliza. She is too young."

"She's only sixteen, and if she fights as well as you say she does then nothing will happen to her."

"Eliza, she can't go. If you had a sister you wouldn't want her to go."

" If she could fight I would let her to go."

" Chun-li is right Eliza, and there is such a thing called a phone, when people are in far away places, people who want to contact them use them. Besides, why do you care? You're not coming." Ryu talking down to Eliza.

Eliza glared at him. " What do you mean I'm not coming? If Ken is coming, I'm coming"

"Eliza, Ryu is right we can call them. And Ling isn't coming. Ryu stop talking to Eliza like she is a dumb blonde. And yes she is coming." Chun-li said quickly, before the two started to fight. " We probably should call every one before we go to China."

The doorbell rang. Ryu got up to get it.

" Ryu that's probably Sakura, I invited her over to talk about the problem the world has." Chun-li called out, using his own phrase against him.

" You could have warned me, ya know." He yelled as he opened the door.

" Warned you about what?" asked a deep voice.

Ryu flinched as he turned around to see a tall man with shoulder length black hair. His dark brown eyes studied Ryu curiously.

" Ryu, hello?" he waved his hand in front of Ryu's face. " Are you high?" he frowned.

" Oh, Liu of course not! Come in." he ushered Liu into the hallway. " What are you doing here?" he whispered.

" Well isn't that a nice way to welcome someone." Said Liu sarcastically as he and Ryu walked into the living room. " You did call me remember? Why?" Before he could answer.

"Kitana!" Chun-li shouted as she rushed forward.

Ryu gave his wife a confused look as he watched her hug a woman with long wavy black hair. Her dark green eyes popped open and she smiled at Ryu. ' How did she know Kitana?' Ryu wondered.

" I missed you so much, how have you been?" Chun-li asked this all in a hurry.

" I've been good, I didn't know you knew Ryu." Kitana said nodding at Ryu.

"Ofcourse I know Ryu, he's my husband." Chun-li said proudly. " Umm, how do you know Ryu?"

"She's married to my cousin, Liu." Ryu said before she could answer, looking at her pleadingly.

" Oh, your cousin! So we finally get to meet." Chun-li ran over and hugged Liu. " And who is this?" she asked peering over Liu's shoulder at the boy standing in the hallway.

" Oh, that's our son, Eijiro. Come here, why are you standing in the hallway? Don't be shy, these people are our friends." Liu said, gesturing the boy to come to him.

Looking down, the boy came to his father. He had wavy hair, like Kitana's. When he looked up to smile at Chun-li, she noted that he had light green eyes, not dark like his mother and wondered whom he inherited them from.

" Hello Eijiro. How are you? How old are you?" Chun-li asked sweetly.

" Hello, I'm good thank you. I'm thirteen." Eijiro answered politely.

"Wow, I wish our kids were that polite." Chun-li smiled at Ryu. " I guess we will have to keep an eye on Asami, that's our daughter she is thirteen too. Oh! I want you guys to meet some people."

She dragged Liu, Kitana and Eijiro into the dining room where they were having their meeting. "Eliza, Ken this is Kitana my very dear friend, her son Eijiro, and Liu her husband and Ryu's cousin."

' That will be the last time Chun-li smiles at me if I don't stop Ken!' Ryu though as he ran into the dining room to stop Ken but...

" Cousin? Liu isn't Ryu's cousin. He's his brother." Corrected an outraged Ken.

He was too late. Chun-li knew the truth already. 'Damn, he has such a big mouth! Why didn't I hold my tongue instead of calling Liu?' Ryu thought, squeezing his eyes shut and opened them as he went into the dining room.

" Brother?" Chun-li looked at Ryu.

Ryu looked down, not knowing what to tell her. How could he have lied for the years they have been married? He knew Chun-li was thinking this question and was probably going to ask it.

" You lied to me? How could you lie to me? I thought we were supposed to be honest with each other!" Chun-li's voice was unsteady.

' Please don't cry that's the last thing I need!' Ryu thought. Chun-li started to sniffle. Ryu knew that next tears would be flowing down her face. ' Just talk! Whatever comes out will be good enough, if not then I will kill Ken!' "

Sweetie, I had to lie. I had no other choice" Ryu found his voice, only to lose it when Chun-li looked up at him with tear filled eyes.

" You had to lie to the woman you love? Why? It sounds ludicroif youme." Chun-li said in a shaky voice, tears streaming down her face.

"Well, umm.." Ryu stopped to think about his answer before he blurted out something that he wasn't supposed to say. " Honey, I know it sounds absurd but I did have to lie. If I didn't lie to you Liu might have been killed."

Chun-li frowned. " Do you mind if I ask you to elaborate on that? And don't call me honey, you lost your privileges to call me that."

Ryu glared at Ken, who was looking a little uneasy. " There is a man called Shao Khan. He has been looking for my brother for quite a while. But the thing is he won't hurt him. Wait I'll explain." Ryu said before Chun-li could say something about that. " The reason he won't hurt him is because he wants Liu for this tournament he is having. It's a very deadly tournament and if Liu loses he could end up dead. Besides the tournament, Khan has this sorcerer who is bent on killing Liu. His name is Shang Tsung. Now although these people are in a place called Outworld, Shang Tsung still has the ability to come here and find Liu."

Except for the occasional sniffle, Chun-li kept a cool head while Ryu was saying all of this. " But why did you have to say he was your cousin?" she asked when he was finished.

" Because Chun-li, Khan has spies all over the place, and if I would have told you that Liu was my brother you would want to visit him." Ryu was getting a bit angry. ' Why does she care weather he is my brother or cousin?' He angrily thought " And if we were to visit him they would have followed us and took him and they would have took Kitana as well!"

"What does any of this have to do with Kitana?" Chun-li raised her voice up a notch.

Clearly irritated, Ryu exhaled noisily. " Kitana is Khan's adopted daughter, she killed her twin sister Mileena, ran away, found and fell in love with Liu and escaped with him to earth." Ryu said this all quickly and moodily.

Chun-li's mouth dropped open. " Two people who lied to me." She said raising he voice again, as she glowered at Kitana. Movements by Eliza made Chun-li remember that she, Ryu, Kitana, Liu, and their son weren't the only people in the room.

" I'm sorry you two had to see that. Not to be rude but I think you two should leave." Chun-li said abruptly.

" No, no you weren't rude. We were thinking the same thing, come on Ken."

Ken, who looked as if he could be watching the whole thing with a bucket of popcorn, got up grumpily.
"See ya Ryu." He said with an apologetic expression on his face. Ryu scowled at him.

" Liu, you, Eijiro and her," Chun-li jerked her head at Kitana " can sleep in our guest bedroom. You sleep on the couch." She sneered at Ryu as she went upstairs.

" Marriage problems, huh Ryu?" smirked Liu.

"Shut up!" Ryu went into the living room and flopped on the couch. He glanced at the clock. Ten o'clock. The meeting had started at eight thirty. ' This is gonna be a long night.'
