The Fight:
Chun-li stared outside the small airplane window. 'It's gonna be so lonely without the kids.' She thought sighing.
Everyone had sent their children over to Ken's mansion. They decided that was the best place for them to be, since Ken's servants would answer to their every whim.
Chun-li smiled as she recalled how the children reacted about going to a real mansion and seeing Mel again. Sakura, Hitoshi, and Asami were ecstatic, but Eijiro was somewhat nervous about being away from his parents and what Mel would think about him. Chun-li assured him that Mel would like him and that he would have fun. She hoped she was right.
She turned and glanced at her sleeping husband. She was surprised how relaxed he was as to before when he refused to get on Ken's private jet.
"I don't want to get on that big ugly deathtrap!" Ryu said stubbornly.
"Hey! That's my big ugly deathtrap buddy." Ken exclaimed, looking a little hurt.
"Sorry, but I'd rather take a boat to China."
"Ryu, if you take a boat to China, I'm gonna have to take a boat to China too and I'm not going on a boat." Chun-li said grumpily.
"No, you can go on the jet if you want Li."
"Come on, don't be a wuss. Besides, the jet has a big room in the back and if we go together we can do what I promised." Chun-li coaxed.
Ryu blushed and hastily agreed. But after he got on the jet they still had a hard time making sit down so they could take off. After a bit more coaxing from Chun-li, Ryu finally sat down, clinging to the arms of the chair for dear life.
Chun-li grinned. Her Ryu was no picnic. He could be quite a handful sometimes. 'Its like having four children instead of three.'
A woman with long purple hair stood in the airport lot with a group of men. Her eyes criss-crossed the skies several times, as if looking for something. Finally her eyes spotted a red jet.
"There it is Go get the limo driver." Rose commanded one of the men.
"Well, which one of us should go get him?" asked Dan.
" I DON'T CARE, JUST ONE OF YOU GUYS GO GET HIM. NOW!" Rose screeched.
Dan, scared by Rose's sudden mood swing, ran to get the limo driver.
The jet had landed and the people on board were getting off by the time Rose had calmed down. She began waving and screaming to get the people's attention.
"Rose, we can see you. You can stop waving now." Ken called, smiling.
"How long were we on that thing?" Ryu asked, still cranky from being woken up so suddenly.
"Oh, for bout three hours." Liu answered smiling.
"Thank God I was sleeping. I hate flying on planes."
"Cheer up Ryu, you might just see me kick Dan's ass" Liu put his arm around Ryu's shoulder and smiled at him.
By the time they walked to Rose and greeted her, a big black limo had pulled up behind her and her group.
"We should go to your hotel rooms first, so you guys can put your stuff away. Come on." Rose beckoned them into the car.
Just before they got in...
"WAIT! WAIT FOR US!" Someone shouted.
Everyone turned around to see a baby blue jet and three girls running toward them. One had curly blond hair, One had short brown hair with a white bandanna around her head, and the other had black hair that was shoulder length and in two ponytails. All looked about the same age.
Chun-li noticed one of the girls immediately and her calm expression changed to one of thunderous rage.
"LING! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Chun-li screamed, walking toward the girl with the ponytails.
"Hi Chun-li, umm I came to help you guys." Ling said hesitantly, backing away from her sister.
Chun-li narrowed her eyes, "Didn't I tell you to stay where you were?" she gritted out.
"Yea, but you hardly see me and I miss you. Anyways, what's the big deal? I just came to help."
Chun-li sighed, "Ling I know. I'm sorry, but I don't want you tp get hurt or killed. Now you can stay but when we leave China you have to go back to school." Chun-li looked up at the other two girls. "All of you go back to school."
"You can't tell me what to do. Not even my parents tell me what to do." Said the blonde.
"Listen little girl, I could kick your butt in a second. So I suggest you do as I tell you." Chun-li warned.
"Ha, yea I'm scared of you now"
"Yea, you oughta be."
"Just listen to her Karin, believe me you wouldn't want to get on Chun-li's bad side." Ling advised her.
Karin quieted down.
"Now that that is settled, everyone in the car." To Chun-li's surprise everyone did as she said.
Liu surveyed the group of people he had just met, looking for Dan.
Ryu, who seemed to know what his older brother was doing, nodded toward a man wearing a pink button-down shirt and pink suede pants.
The minute Liu saw Dan's getup he burst out laughing.
Kitana jumped at Liu's sudden laughter and eyed him warily. When she saw what he was laughing at she too laughed.
By this time everyone was confused and began to ask what was so funny.
"P-Pinky." Liu managed to get out between laughs.
Immediately everyone started to laugh. Everyone except Dan.
"What's wrong with pink? At least I'm showing my feminine side!" Dan tried to defend himself.
This just made everyone laugh harder.
"That's it! Pull over, I'm getting out! Dan called to the driver.
It wasn't until the car started to pull over that someone started to calm Dan down.
"No, don't leave. Come on you guys stop laughing at him." Kitana tried to hush the others." He can't help it if he likes pink. And its not like he wears it every day..maybe. I'm sorry for laughing at you."
Dan blushed, "No it's ok. Thanks for standing up for me and stopping me. By the way the names Dan." He held out his hand.
"Kitana." She took his hand.
Still holding her hand, Dan asked what any guy would ask if they saw a pretty face. "Umm, your very attractive you know. You got a boyfriend?"
"No, she has a husband." Liu snatched Kitana's hand away before she could open her mouth.
Dan glared at Liu for a second. "And you would be?"
"Her husband, Liu."
"So your Liu." Dan's expression became sour. "Pull over, come on. We're gonna finish what we started on the phone."
The driver pulled over and everyone got out of the car. Ryu stood beside Liu and seized his shoulder.
"I thought you said you weren't fighting him." Ryu whispered.
"He hit on Kitana, didn't he?" Liu shooed Ryu's hand away, knowing that Dan hadn't really hit on Kitana but got into his fighting stance anyway.
"Liu!" Kitana called crossly, stamping her foot at him.
"Not now dear." Was the only answer she got.
Dan retied his ponytail and got into his fighting stance.
They circled each other several times before Dan finally attacked. He quickly punched for Liu's stomach, which Liu blocked. Withdrawing from the thought his quickness would be in his favor, he began to circle Liu again, studying him, looking for a weak spot on the dark haired man.
Liu was getting impatient and decided it was time to strike. Moving briskly toward Dan, he kicked Dan's side quickly, then went for his head and finished with a sweep kick.
Dan groaned as the pain of his back meeting with the ground so suddenly got to him. He got up glaring at Liu. This man was quicker than he thought. Dan punched at Liu's face, then kicked toward his knee, intending to make him kneel before him. But Liu blocked. Dan punched at Liu swinging at his head, but Liu ducked.
Seeing the mistake Dan made he upper-cutted him in the chest, knocking him Dan away from him. Dan landed on the ground with a thud.
Angrily he got up, he began to viciously attack Liu with a barrage of fast punches and kicks that Liu couldn't block. This was a big mistake. Although it did knock Liu down, it also had drained Dan of his energy and left him feeling weak. He knew that it would take him a while to regain it so began to call and end to the fight.
Just before he called and end to the fight, Liu got up and put his knee to his hands, keeping them there for several seconds as a bright ball of fire burned in his hands.
Dan's eyes widened, his mind told him to move but his legs weren't listening.
Liu opened his hands wider and let go of the fireball. It speed through thealike a heat seeking missile looking for its target. Sure enough it found its target and hit it square in the chest, knocking Dan backward several feet.
Dan finally came to a stop after skidding across the ground. Opening his eyes he found everyone peering at him anxiously.
"You ok?" Liu a little worried.
Dan nodded and took Liu's offered hand.
Everyone backed away to give them breathing space.
"You got a hell of a... What was that?"
Liu chuckled, "It was a fireball, duh."
"Well I call it something different. You fight well. I guess you're not oversensitive after all." Dan clamped his hand on Liu's shoulder.
Liu grinned, "No, but you are." He laughed, running to keep out of Dan's reach.
