Chapter Twenty-five

Cammy's long blonde pigtails swiveled around her head. Her arms folded across her chest as she skyrocketed toward Bison's chest. Her feet drew closer and closer until they were a mere few inches away.

Bison smirked and swiped at Cammy as if swatting a gnat.

Cammy flew off course and into the nearby stone wall. She shook her head and growled at Bison.

Bison grinned sadistically at her, "Now Cammy, is that any way to treat the man you used to and soon will be calling Master?"

"Is this what this is all about? Getting me back?" She shouted.

Bison laughed, "No my dear, this is about world domination. You are just a consolation prize."

Cammy growled audibly and stood up baring her teeth.

Bison chuckled at accomplishing the task of annoying Cammy, a brief movement out of the corner of his eye caught his attention and Bison whipped his head around. It was then he noticed the others running toward him. Smirking, Bison brought his hands together, horizontally, in front of him. A bright purple light began to spew from his hands and took the shape of a large half circle. Bison pushed his hands forward, dispelling the purple projectile.

The large purple light sped toward the thirteen street fighters, hitting the few up front hard, and leaving them unconscious and badly injured.

Cammy watched in a far away daze, as her fellow fighters were burned, bruised and unconscious. She balled her small but deadly fists at her sides, she had had enough! Cammy dashed forward in a mad rush to deliver a surprise jump kick to Bison's face. Just when she started to jump, she was hurled out of the air and found herself back on the ground. That was the second time she had been thrown off course! Cammy's eyes flashed around for her attacker, she didn't have to look very long. There Balrog stood, his gloved hands on hips and a stupid grin on his face. Cammy stood up and stepped back up an inch. She placed one fist in front of her and the other in front of her chest, where her heart now beat furiously. She wouldn't bother insulting Balrog with the obscenities that were screaming to be let out of her head. She would let her fists do the talking for her.

Bison smirked at the remaining street fighters and signaled the soldiers forward.

"What's the matter? Too chicken to fight on your own?" Charlie shouted.

Bison unclipped the clasp that held his cloak. "Afraid am I? And what, pray tell, should I be afraid of? You, Mr. Commando and your extraordinary army fighting abilities? Well, then perhaps I should show you just how afraid of you I am." Bison folded his arms across his chest as he levitated down toward the dusty ground.

Charlie grimaced. Of all the times his mouth got him in trouble, this one might cost him his life.

Chun-li's foot came thundering down on a soldier's head, forcing him to bend down. She lifted it again and rammed in into his face, knocking him backward. She slammed her fist into and oncoming soldier's face when someone pushed into her, making her stumble.

Ken swirled around and was met by Chun-li's leg. With an experienced quickness, he caught her leg and looked dumb founded at her.

Chun-li smiled apologetically, "Sorry."

Ken nodded and let go, he flew around and elbowed a solider running toward him. "Bison didn't train these guys too well." He shouted to her over the many screams coming from soldiers.

"I know, that worries me." Chun-li answered, palm striking a solider in the face.

Ken smiled, "That's your problem Li, you worry too much." He looked up to find more soldiers but instead saw Cammy fighting Balrog. Cammy had climbed on top of Balrog and was trying to flip him over. But because of his size and hers, this was impossible. Balrog reached up, grabbed one of Cammy's long pigtails and slammed her on the ground. Cammy stood up slowly. "I'm gonna go help Cammy." He said as he ran off to her direction.

But Chun-li didn't hear him, she was busy breaking a soldier's nose.

Kitana fell flat on her butt. She had just knocked out one of Bison's soldiers when someone had tripped her from behind. She glared up at her attacker's face or rather his eyes because she couldn't see his face. She stood and quickly got into her fighting stance, wanting to punish this man quickly and severely.

Vega chuckled and shook his head. "Usted es un hermoso y bocado delicioso, deflower usted seria esta noche encantados. Pero para ahora, luchamos."

Kitana tilted her head slightly, "What?"

"I said," Vega purred, "You are a beautiful one and a delicious morsel," He licked his lips underneath his mask as his blue eyes traveled up Kitana's body. "to deflower you tonight would be charming. But for now, we fight." Kitana nodded, "Your clinically insane." She said dashing forward to axle kick him in the head.

But Vega was much quicker than she was. He sprinted past, slashing her arm as he did.

Kitana choked down a scream and clutched her arm to stop the bleeding.

Vega lifted his mask slightly and licked her blood off his claw. "Mmmm, your blood is delicioso. I wonder what other part of you is." His eyes lazily traveled up Kitana's legs.

Kitana narrowed her eyes and let go of her sticky arm. Fighting Vega wouldn't take agility but thinking. This would take some thinking.

Blood spewed out of the soldier's mouth as Ryu's fist connected with his face, his blood splattered on the dust after he was kicked to the ground.

Ryu sensed another enemy behind him and let his fist fly into where his victim's face wold be, but instead hit a chest hard as rock. Already knowing whom it was, Ryu stepped back and looked up.

Sagat smirked at the smaller man. "So little man, we meet again." He grinned broadly.

Ryu frowned slightly and nodded.

"You're very lucky," Sagat's grin faded into a scowl. "that I can't kill you."

Ryu furrowed his brow, pondering what the giant cyclopes meant, but Sagat did not give him time to wonder.

Sagat's hardened fist came crashing down on Ryu, punching him repeatedly before kicking Ryu onto the ground.

Ryu sat up and shook as he wondered how he had beaten Sagat as a teenager.

Ibuki leaned forward after Juni kicked her in the gut and dropped down to the ground as Juli sweep kicked her. She had to get from in between them, or she would not have a chance. Ibuki leaned back and kicked up. She quickly turned to Juni and hopped high toward her. She smashed her feet into Juni face and leapt off backward into the air. Behind Juli and near to landing, Ibuki slipped out a kunai and threw so it would hit Juli blade first.

Juli jumped back away from the kunai, giving Ibuki a safe landing, and getting her safely from between the two. Ibuki smirked, for genetically enhanced women they were not very smart. 'If they keep this up, I'll beat them in fifteen minutes.'

"Reflect!"
The solider screamed in agony as his own bullets doubled back on him.
Rose rolled her eyes, 'What brainless idiots! I've reflected five men who shot at me, I would think they would know not to fire their weapons.' She narrowed her eyes and brought her hands out in front of her, as she did two soldiers flew into the air and knocked together. They fell to the ground in a groaning heap.

Rose glanced around herself, scattered like marbles the soldiers who dare test her wrath lay. Defeating ones enemy would surely make another happy, but Rose was not smiling. Instead her mouth was fixed in a grim frown and her eyes locked on the world's greatest enemy, Bison. She began to walk toward her eyes full of a raging fire of intense hatred that quickly changed to horror then panic. Rose did the first thing that came to her mind. She ran.
