“I am”

“…There, it’s zipped”

“I don’t think I can breath…”

Chun Li loosened the zipper to the gorgeous,…but tight, medieval dress that Cammy was wearing. It was Friday night (Halloween) and most students were preparing to attend the Halloween dance, in the gymnasium.

“Hey, lookin’ good, Cammy”, said Pullum as she stepped into the dark dorm room.

“Thank you, you too”, Cammy replied as she looked Pullum up and down. She was wearing a authentic Arabian outfit, like Princess Jasmine or something, really cool.

“Where’s Elena?”, asked Cammy, noticing that Elena still wasn’t there. “She is coming, isn’t she?”

“You couldn’t keep her away, even if she is black and blue”, answered Pullum. It has been a week after the fight and Elena was still icing some bruises from the fight, but other than that, she was fine.

“Here I am!”, Elena jumped in front of the doorway, posing in a very revealing gold bikini thing, with a chain wrapped around her neck and a brown, braided wig. Her nose had a small, white bandage across it, and the side of her forehead had one as well. Her cheek was purple and there was a rather long scratch on her bare shoulder.

“The hell are you supposed to be?”, asked Chun Li, wide-eyed.

“Princess Leia, duh”, she walked over to them, taking long strides and humming the Darth Vader theme song.

“Doesn’t leave much to the imagination”, Cammy smirked. Elena threw a pillow at her.

“Hey! Watch the hair! Chun Li spent an hour doing it for me!”, Cammy cried as she threw it back at Elena. Pullum joined in the fun as well. Chun Li watched them and sighed and turned back to the front of the long closet mirror.

“I wish I was going with you guys…”, she muttered gloomily.

“So come, you are gonna miss a lot of fun”, persisted Elena, as she adjusted her wig.

“I can’t, I promised Vega…”, she replied as she looked at herself in the mirror. She was wearing a very dark red spaghetti-strapped slip on dress, that came down to the back of her knees, which complimented her shapelylegs.

“By the way, you look way cute tonight”, added Pullum, trying to straighten herself out.

“Thanks”, Chun Li cracked a smile.

“Boy, I’ve never seen someone look so glum and depressed to go out with a really hot guy”, Cammy said, making an exaggerated sad face.

Chun Li rolled her eyes and smiled.

“I’m really excited to go, believe me, it’s just that,…I don’t know…”, she trailed off.

Ken’s Mansion

“I still don’t understand your American pumpkin day…”, Ryu’s voice was muffled as he slipped on a hockey goalie mask.

“You look awesome!”, Ken turned Ryu around so that he was facing the mirror. Ken slipped on his white mask as well. “ We make the perfect masked murderer team”

“Murderer? I don’t want to look like a murderer”, said Ryu as he took off the mask.

“It’s just a movi…”, began Ken, but he was interrupted by Dan, who decided to make a grand entrance.

“Put your hands in the air, and give me everything in the register!”, Dan yelled as he jumped into Ken’s room. He was dressed in black jeans, a black T-shirt, and a black stocking over his head and face. He had his hands wrapped around a shiny jet-black gun, obviously fake. He waited for a reaction. Ken stared at him, grinning and Ryu was staring at him, with a weird expression.

“I’m a Seven Eleven hold-up guy”, said Dan flatly as he pulled the stocking off his face. “C’mon it’s pretty original,…right?…I spent all night begging my aunt for a pair of stockings, give me some credit. At least, I scared your butler’s a** off at the front door”

“Hey guys”

The three turned around to see Guy, walking in with a tie and black trench coat.

“Agent Mulder,…FBI” he said in a low tone and pulled out a fake FBI badge.

“Cool costume, where’s Scully”, said Ken.

“Hope to meet one at the dance tonight, hehehe”, Guy replied.

“Come on, I have a much more original costume”, Dan whined.

“What are you supposed to be, anyways?”, asked Guy, looking at him.

“Forget it”

“Well, I’m Michael Myers and Ryu’s supposed to be Jason, but he doesn’t want to a murderer”, Ken folded his arms.

“I know,…hey, Ryu, put on your white gi…”

Dance

“Ryu, man, stop waving that around, you’ll put an eye out”

“Sorry”, he carried the light green plastic light-saver to his side.

“Hello”, said Dan as Elena walked out of the lady’s room. He looked her up and down.

Elena gave him the finger, then looked at Ryu, who was wearing his white gi and carrying the green light-saver.

“Why, hello. Are you supposed to be who I think you are?”, she said in a sexy voice.

“Uh,…I’m supposed to be…Skywalker, or something,…right, Ken?”

“What a coincidence, I’m Princess Leia”

“Who?”

“Let’s stop the chatter and go inside”, complained Guy.

He opened the door, and instantly, the extremely loud music, hit them like a wall. Colored lights flashed every which way and everyone was dancing happily. Ryu eyed the refreshment table.

“Good, I’m very thirsty”, and he made his way there. he was pouring some punch into a cup, until, he noticed his shoelace untied. As, he bent down to tie it, he heard a familiar voice.

“This was a great turn-out!”, Cammy shouted to project her voice over the loud dance music.

“I know!”, Pullum shouted back, with her mouth stuffed with a Halloween-shaped cookie at the refreshment table. Cammy was about to warn her about the calories, when Fei Long made his way through the dancing crowd, to her.

“Cammy, do you know where Chun Li is?”, he shouted.

“Yeah, she’s on a date with Vega”

“I know, but where did he take her?”

“What?…I can’t hear you”

“Where did he take her?!”

“Why?”

“She may be in danger”

“What?!”

Fei Long proceeded to shout out the story to Cammy, who listened with her hand on her astonished mouth.

“What a b*stard!”

“Exactly, I need to get to her, do you know where he took her?”

“I think he took her to that ritzy restaurant on 13th street”

“Thanx!”, and he dashed out of the gym.

“Elena! Pullum! We have to leave, now!”

“Dan! C’mon, man! We have to go”, Ken shouted at Dan, who was trying to pick up Sharon Dame.

“Can’t you see I’m in the middle of something!”, he yelled angrily.

“Get your a** over here now!”

Dan excused himself and walked over to Ryu, Guy and Ken.

“This better be important, I was about to get that red-head’s digits”

“Yeah, keep dreaming”, Ken mocked.

Dan clenched a fist. Ryu told him to be serious and then he told him what he heard.

“So what?” was all Dan’s reply. “That Fei Long is gonna save her, it’s not our problem”

“Dan”, Ryu gave him a stern look.

“Alright, alright, let’s go kick ass”

“Get off, you’re stepping on my dress!”, Cammy whispered loudly at Pullum. The three girls were kneeling on dirty boxes in the damp, cold, dark alley in back of the restaurant. They had their hands on the window sill, with their head sticking up, watching the inside of the restaurant.

“There! I see them”, Elena answered, as she pointed to Chun Li and Vega, who were sitting at a table. Chun Li was smiling.

“I wish I had a guy who would take me to a swanky place like this”, Cammy complained. “Uugghh! Look, there’s rats over there”

“Rats! Where?!”, Pullum screamed and jumped up. The three lost their balance on the high stack of boxes and rolled down to the wet floor.

“Pullum, I am going to kill you!”, Cammy got up and looked at her ruined, muddy dress.

“Look, they’re leaving!”, Elena whispered.

* * * *

“Ow, watch it!”, Dan whined.

“Just a little higher”, Ken directed.

“Well, can you see them?” Ryu whispered.

“Yeah,…hey! They’re leaving!…Whoa!” Ken yelled as Dan swayed side to side. “Stop moving”

“It’s hard to keep my balance, you’re heavy, man!” Dan yelled back, holding on to Ken’s ankles on his shoulders with a firm grip.

The guys were in the back alley. They came almost a millisecond after the girls left. Ken was standing on Dan’s shoulders.

“Aagghh! Rat!”, Dan screamed and let go of Ken’s ankles. Ken tumbled onto Guy and Ryu.

“(cough) Get off (cough) You’re crushing my ribs”, cried Guy, as he pushed Ken off. The three were on the wet floor, glaring at Dan, with the evil eye.

Elena skittered, keeping her body low, behind the bushes, with Pullum and Cammy trailing her. Vega and Chun Li were walking through the park, after dinner. They could here Chun Li giggling at something Vega said.

“Aagghh!” Elena bumped in to someone. Fei Long. He cupped his hand over her mouth.

“Did you hear something?”, Chun Li asked.

“Um, no”

“Hmmm, let’s just keep going” and they continued walking. Fei Long let go.

“What are you doing here?”, he whispered.

“Rescuing a friend”, replied Cammy.

“I can handle this on my ow-“

“Hey”, whispered Ken, as he crwled up to them, with 4 other guys, panting. “We knew we saw you guys come into the park, Dan recognized your gold bikini thing”

“Why are you he-“, Fei Long began, until he heard a loud, high-pitched shriek.

“Yaaahhhhhh!”, they all jumped out from behind the bushes and got into their fighting stances.

Chun Li and Vega whirled around. Cammy, Pullum, aand Elena were covered in dirt. Ryu was holding a plastic green light-saver as a weapon. Dan had a stocking on his face and Fei Long was staring at Vega with an angry look.

“What the H*** are all of you guys doing here?!”, Chun Li asked outraged.

“First, what was that scream?’, asked Fei Long.

“A group of little kids ran out of nowhere and I was startled”

“Oh”, everyone looked at each other.

“We thought you were in danger..”, began Cammy.

“Why would you think that?!’, Chun Li screamed. “I can’t believe you, Fei!”

“But Li, Vega-“

“I don’t want to hear it” she glanced at Ryu with cold eyes, then turned around, linked her arm with Vega’s and started walking. Vega grinned evilly at Fei Long.
