Neon Genesis Street Fighter Ch. 11 - Street Fighting and Romance

Date: Friday 7th of July 2015 Location: The tournament, still.

Chun-LI entered the ring carefully but her oponent was nowhere to be seen. Chun-Li stood there impatiently for five minutes. Out in the croud Ken, Ibuki, Ryu and Sakura were all watching impatiently, then the door was blasted open and Akuma was standing at the door, well not exactly standing, floating is a more accurate word. A large black Aura surrounded him and red flames were floating on his back. He speed towards a random croud member and punched them in the face, blood splattering everywhere. Everyone shreiked and ran away. Ryu stood there and stared at Akuma. Ryu shoot his hands forward.

Ryu: Hadouken!

A large blast of blue ki flew towards Akuma with great force. then it was stopped by what appeared to be an AT field. Ryu stared in horror as his Hadouken was countered by Akuma and didn't even harm him. Then he felt a pull on his shoulder. It was Chun-Li trying to get him away. Ryu followed Ken, Chun-Li, Ibuki, and Sakura out of the croud. Akuma chased after them and started hurling Gou Hadouken's at the five warriors. Then suddenly Akuma yelled.

Akuma: Tenma Gou Zankuu!

A massive onslaught of fireballs was hurled towards our heroes with emormous speed. Ryu grabbed Sakura and pulled. her to the ground, barely saving her from being blasted apart. Ryu helped Sakura back up and they ran of leaving Akuma confused. Outside the building Michael, ES, and who Ryu figured to be Cassie ran up from the exit, stopped and tried to catch thier breath.

Ryu: Are you guys ok?

Michael: We're just fine, who was that guy?

Ken: He's a demon, his name is Akuma.

ES: Ahhhhh, I see.

Ryu: Well we gotta head off, same place tommorow?

Michael: Yep, see you there.

Everyone headed off home, Ryu had offered to escort Sakura home, and Ken went home with Chun-Li and Ibuki caught a Taxi home. Ryu walked Sakura home not saying a word. Once outside Sakura's house Sakura kissed Ryu on the cheek and hugged him.

Sakura: Thank you for escorting me home.

Ryu (blushing): Hehe, *scratches the back of his head.* it was nothing, really.

Sakura took her hands away from Ryu, kissed him on the cheek again and walked inside. Ryu just stood there with a dazed look on his face then walked away to go back home and went to sleep. Meanwhile at Chun-Li's house she was dreaming again, but it was no nightmare this time, she was walking side by side with Ryu, they were talking and laughing together.

Ryu: I love you Chun-Li.

Chun-Li: I love you too Ryu!

Chun-Li hugged Ryu for several minutes then he disappeared. Then the whole thing went black again. 'here we go again' Chun-Li thought with an annpyed tone, she didn't seem to be scared this time.

Chun-Li: Your begining to bore me.

Akuma: You do know Ryu doesn't love you.

Chun-Li: Thats not true!

Then he shows Chun-Li the image of Sakura and Ryu kissing in the medical room at the tournament with their arms around each other and their lips forced together. Chun-Li saw this and her look of boredom seemed to shift slightly. The image disappeared and then Akuma was standing befor Chun-Li.

Akuma: I don't want you, Ryu is the one I want, if you help me I'll spare your life.

Chun-Li: Go to h*ll.

Akuma (mumbling): Been there, done that.

Chun-Li: Huh?

Akuma: Don't make me kill you, I really don't want too.

'Like I beleive that, why should I beleive a word you say?' Chun-Li thought un-nervingly. 'Hmmmmm,' Akuma thought, 'She doesn't beleive me, it's not like I blame her, but I have to restrain myself from killing her.' Chun-Li just sat there and said nothing.

Akuma: Fine, I'll tell you the truth, I do want to kill you, but I need you to get to Ryu. So you see, if you don't help me I'll just kill you.

Chun-Li: Really? Then eat this, KIKOSHOU!

The blast of Ki emited from Chun-Li's hands was so focused it sent Akuma flying backwards and landing on his butt. He got up and was about to shoot a Gou Hadouken at Chun-Li when she disappeared with a flash of blue light. 'D*mn, she got away from me, no matter.' Akuma thought. Akuma disappeared with a flash a blood red ki and the room disappeared. Chun-Li awoke quietly and stretched out her arms. She got up and had a shower and got ready for school. Then there was a knock at the door. She ran and answered it, it was Ryoko her friend from school. 'D*mn, I thought it might be Ryu.' Chun-Li thought.

Chun-Li: Hi Ryoko, how are you?

Ryoko: I'm good, do you want to walk to school together?

Chun-Li: Yep, okay.

Chun-Li smiled cheerfuly, flung her bag over her shoulder and walked through the door. As she walked to school she saw Ryu and Sakura walking together on the other side of the road, talking cheerfuly and holding hands. 'So what he said was true.' Chun-Li thought, 'Ryu really doesn't love me' A single tear ran down Chun-Li's face and she wiped it away quickly. Ryoko looked at Chun-Li and brushed back her silver her with one hand.

Ryoko: Are you ok Chun-Li?

Chun-Li (smiles weakly): I'm fine.

Once they reach school they each got into their assigned desks and sit down. They had a new teacher today, it was a woman with Black hair and Brown eyes.

Teacher: Hello class I'm Seia Kitsarugi, and I'll be your teacher for today.

The class was rather uneventful, considering they actually had to do work with this new teacher. As the lunch bell rang Sakura ran over to Ryu and Ken. She smiled a mischivous (I know I spelt that wrong) grin on her face.

Sakura: Ken, would you and Ibuki like to go on a double date with Ryu and I?

Before either Ryu or Ken could respond to this Ibuki popped up.

Ibuki: Sounds great!
