Neo Genesis Street Fighter Ch. 22 - Akuma's Return: The Death of Ryu

Ibuki ran way from the trashed cafe towards her house. "Holy s***, I almost killed her! She's supposed to be my friend! No, wait, don't blame yourself Ibuki, she is the one who protected that monster...." thought Ibuki as she rushed home starring at the ground. Then she felt someone grab her by the shoulders and out of instict tripped them up and slammed them into the ground. Then Ibuki realised who it was.

Ken: Ow! What was that for?

Ibuki: Ken!

Ibuki wrapped her arms around Ken and hugged him close to her, her head resting against his chest. Ken hugged her back and ran his hand through her long black hair caressing it softly. A tear ran down Ibuki's cheek.

Ibuki: I love you Ken.

Ken (smiling): I know.

Then Ikuki and Ken saw two other figures walking towards them so Ibuki helped Ken out of the crater that Ibuki had made in the sidewalk, and Ibuki wondered if perhaps she might have put a little to much power into that throw. When they got closer Ken and Ibuki acknowledged the figures as Ryu and Sakura. Ken waved at Ryu and Ryu waved back, When they got closer Ken slapped Ryu on the back.

Ken: Yo Ryu, you haven't done anything you shouldn't do with Sakura without telling me have you?

Ryu: Huh?

Ken: How niave.

However Sakura knew perfectly well what Ken was talking about and kicked him in the shins, (by the way, I'm not talking some p*ssy girl kick, I'm talking a powerful kick which came close to breaking his leg!) Ken ran around in pain.

Ken: Owwwwww!!! Ow.. Oooo... Ouch! C**P... THAT HURTS!!

Ken fell over and landed in the crater that Ibuki had thrown him into earlier. Ibuki, Sakura, and Ryu all started laughing their heads off at Ken's expense. Ibuki helped up Ken who was tempted to give Sakura a taste of her own medicine, except that he decided to be more civil, and cause Ibuki said she'd "kick his cute little *ss" if he did.

Ryu: C'mon guys, let's go to the park.

Meanwhile in the spirit realm.

Akuma was sitting down and meditating. He looked up to the "sky" and murmered something to himself. Then he called out.

Akuma: Messatsu! I summon thee!

A black shadow appeared infront of Akuma and stared at him with an unphased expression. Akuma glared at him with bright red eyed.

Akuma: I have all the power of Messatsu, I have made a deal with the angels and have near god- like powers, yet I still manange to get my *ss kicked by a group of 14 year old kids!!!

Messatsu: Akuma..... they are no mere mortal children, they are the saviours of earth chosen by the spirits of Hadou and Ryukaji, they are two spirits, I am only one but do not worry, you will have revenge, and I hereby give you the power to unleash your full potential!

Akuma: YES!!

Akuma stood up and exploded into red flames, then when they disappeared he was still Akuma, but slightly different, His hair was more orange than red and his gi more purple than black, an aura of dark energy flowwed from him like a river, he was SHIN AKUMA!!

Akuma: I will go for my revenge... NOW!!

Suddenly Akuma appeared in some bushes in the park and not far away from Ken, Ryu, Ibuki and Sakura, however Ryu, Ken and Ibuki all sensed his evil chi the second he arived, how could they not? Ryu and Ken began to charge up thier Ki for a fight, as they knew there was about to be one. Akuma stepped out of the bushes, figuring there was no point in attempting to hide.

Ken: Ibuki, Sakura, stay out of this, I don't want you two getting hurt..... or killed, over us.

Ryu charged forward at Akuma and was blasted backwards by his Go Hadouken and went plummeting into the ground and climbed back to his feet. Ken ran over and stood next to his friend and fighting partner and nodded.

Ryu & Ken: Ryukaji..... Go Haken!!!!

Ryu and Ken both shot out their fit which shot forth a red energy, Akuma was hit by the full brunt of the attack, and laughed. Ken looked at Akuma with a hint of fear in his eyes however the determination outweighed the fear. Ken ran forward and yelled.

Ken: Shouryu Ken!

Ken did a jumping uppercut to Akuma with his fist on fire and flew 10 feet into the air then touch downed safely. Akuma was a little dazed by the attack but other than that he was fine. Ken proceeded to beat the living s*** out of Akuma, Rightfist to the face, left fist to the gut, round house kick off the right leg to the face, left side kick to the chest and finished it off with a Tatsumaki Sempuu Kyaku which hit Akuma in the face 8 times. Akuma was just slightly p*ssed off now and yelled..

Akuma: Messatsu Go Hadou!!

Akuma's hands shot forwards and purple ki erupted from his palms and hit Ken forcefully, sending him flying bockwards and hitting an oak tree with his back at 50 km an hour. Ken immeadiatly began to attempt to heal himself. Ryu charged into visous combat and threw five Hadouken's at Akuma, which he dodged, then a Shouryu ken. Akuma raised ine hand and muttered.

Akuma: Akudou.

Akuma shot forth his hands and a black wave was sent out and Ryu and Ken were transported to an arena in the spirit realm. Ken was still semi uncoincious due to his close encounter with the oak tree. Ryu hit Akuma in the face and was sent flying backwards. Ryu got back to his feet in time to hear.

Akuma: Shun Goku Satsu.

AKuma speed towards Ryu a frighteningly evil speeds and RYu got caught in his path right when Ken was getting up. Ryu was hit in 14 different pressure points and then in the heart, and Ryu fell down, dead.

Ken: NO! D*mn you!

Then Ryu's ki flowwed from his body to Ken. Ken begn to glow with a burning rage. Then Ken decided to use something he had only used once before.

Ken: Akuma, look bihind you.

Akuma looked behind him and saw Ken, then faced forward and there was Ken! There were two Ken's! The suddenly about six more Ken's appeared. "I dunno if have enough ki to keep this up, but I gotta try, for Ryu." The eight Ken's charged at Akuma and yelled.

Ken: SHINRYUKEN!!!!!!

Akuma was hit by every single Shin Ryu Ken from all six kens, massive tornado of fire and fists, Akuma was being torn apart, and when it was finally when he landed he was a bloody mess and Ken was warped out of the spirit realm.
