Neon Genesis Street Fighter Ch. 25 - Ruination

It was a cold and starry night, Ken was out on the veranda of his hotel room, sitting on a chair with his head in his hands. Whe wind blew softly against his fair skin, ruffling his long strawberry blonde hair, which was tied back in a ponytail with his red bandana. Ken lifted up his head and stared out into the night, the sky was light brightly with stars and the moon was full, then Ken saw something in the distance, it was moving towards Tokyo 3! "Oh s***." Thought Ken, "An angel! Why now!?". Then the alarms went of all over Tokyo 3 and I voice was heard all over Tokyo 3.

Voice: All Non-Military personel go to you designated shelters, I repeat, all non-military personel retreat to your designated shelters.

Ken: Guess I'd better get to base.

Ken ran down flight of stairs all the way to the bottom floor. He then entered his passcode and used his security card to enter through the 2 foot thick steel doors. He ran into the briefing room to see Ibuki and Chun-Li already seated and waiting to be briefed, and Lt. Cammy waiting impatiently.

Cammy: It's about time!

Ken: Give me a break, Just get on with it.

Ken (Muttering): Dumb blond b*tch, you and Fuzz-head think your so tough, if I could just fight you, then I'd show you.

Cammy: The target is aproximatly 56 metres in height, 30 metres in length, basicly it's not much bigger than your Evangelions. It's S2 Core is nowhere on it's outside so it must be internal, this might get messy, Okay?

Ibuki: Yes Mam.

Chun-Li: Got it.

Ken (Casually waving his hand): Whaaatever.

Cammy: I'm sure I don't need to explain what will happen if you guys fail on this mission.

Ibuki: What?

Chun-Li: The end of the world...

Ken: Third Impact.

"Boy... they sure know how to put pressure on a girl." Thought Ibuki tying back her hair.

Ken: C'mon lets go!

The pilots entered the entry plugs and prepared to synchronize with the Evangelions. Ken hated that they had to link with them in mind for you can feel all the pain the Eva feels, however this kind of mental link is the best way to efficiently control something like this. "Come to think of it, where did they get these Evengelion things from anyway, they're aren't robots, they're flesh and blood with armor plating over the top.... They're like.. The angels!" Ken shuddered at his last thought, and pushed it to the back of his mind.

Ken cringed under the force as his Evangelion was sent up the launch shaft towards the surface. When he reached the surface he was greeted with a flat metal surface. It was actually quite remarkable the way the city was constructed, whenever an angel attacked they could hide all the buildings underneath the city inside the Geofront leaving a few building up which contained weapons and ammunition for the Eva's weapons. Ken stepped out and looked around, it didn't take him long to spot the Angel, it was slightly taller than their Evangelions and didn't have a head, it was humched forward and was black with lots of white spikey protrusions, like bones.

Ken: Ibuki, Chun-Li, you two take defensive, I'll attack it, Okay?

Chun-Li: Okay Ken.

Ibuki: Sure thing.

Chun-Li reached one of the munitions towers and openned it up and removed a mobile positron rifle, a large anti-matter laser cannon, then got into position. Ibuki ran towards another munitions tower, producing two pallette rifles, average Evangelion Sub Machine guns, and one rocket launcher, then also got in position. Ken openned up one behind him and removed a large red lance which glowwed a purple colour. Ken ran at the angel then jumped into the air and attempted to spear the angel but fail miserably as the Angel somehow disappear then reanimated itself behind Ken's Eva Unit 02 and thrusted it's bladed arm into Unit 02's left shoulder blade, severing Unit 02's arm.

Ken: Arghh!! My arm!!

Blood gushed from the wound then suddenly stopped. Ken sat silent in his entry plug, holding his left shoulder and cringing in pain, tears ran down his cheeks as he screamed in agony.

Cammy: Ken! Ken! It's not your real arm Ken! KEN!!

Ken didn't reply and his Evangelion remained dormant.

Cammy: D*mm*t! Chun-Li, Ibuki, take that this out!

Ibuki responded and started firing her two Pallette rifles at the Angel and to her shook the bullets bounced harmlessly of it. The Angel turned to face Ibuki, then suddenly was face to face with Ibuki!

Ibuki: Agh!!

Ibuki fired her Pallette rifles in utter panic, empty both clips and resonationg sound of "Click click click." Ibuki looked on in horror as the angel reared back to stab her but then falls over after getting it's leg blasted off by Chun-Li's positron rifle! The angel madw a screaching sound and fell over, then Ibuki pulled out a progressive knife and began to start tearing into the angel, sending bit's of flesh and blood everywhere as she searched for it's S2 core. Meanwhile Ken had calmed down and began to move his Evangelion towards the Angel. He picked up a pallette rifle with his remaining arm and pointed it at the angel's chest, blasting off all the flesh and revealing it's S2 Organ. With this Ibuki thusted her Progressive Knife into the S2 core and cringed at the metalic screaching that was produced as she pierced what would be considered the angels heart. Then suddenly without warning the Angel exploded in the shape of the cross and sent all the Eva's flying.
