Changing Sides Ch. 1

Chun-li parked her Black Benz in the parking lot to her apartment complex. She got out with handbag in hand and made her way to the lobby. Walking towards the elevator she was stopped by a man with dirty blond hair and green eyes.

"Whoa whoa…baby what's your name," he said grabbing her forearm gently. Chun-li looked him up and down then rolled her eyes. She would admit, he was cute…but she didn't feel like being bothered. She said the first lie that came to her mind "Sorry…I'm married"; she said pressing the up button. "Well your husband is a lucky man…hay! If your married then where's your wedding ring?" he asked looking at her right hand. "You the observant type aren't you"? She said under her breath. "Pardon"? He asked not hearing what she said.

"Nothing…look…if I give you my number will you leave"?

"Sure", he said.

"Chun-li reached in her hand bag and retrieved a piece of paper and pen. She smiled as she put down the number.

"Here…call me at", she stopped when she saw he was staring at her chest. She cleared her throat to get his attention. He looked back at her face and lightly blush at being caught staring. She repeated her-self. "Here…call me tonight at 10…okay", she said giving him the paper. The elevator doors opened and Chun-li closed her handbag and stepped in. "Hey what's your name"! "……Cammy. My name is Cammy." Chun-li said. "Cool…alright Cammy…I'll call you tonight then. Bye" "Bye", Chun-li said as the elevator doors closed. Chun-li giggled when the doors closed. Cammy was going to be so mad when she found out Chun-li gave the man her name and number.

Chun-li stepped off the elevator and turned the key to unlock her door. She stepped in side. She turned on a few lights and made her way to the bedroom. Then she stopped as she opened the door. In a swift motion she grabbed her gun out of her handbag and pointed it to the den. The room 10ft away from her was pitch dark and she couldn't see inside it but she knew someone was in there. "Come out were I can see you", she demanded. No response. She then clicked off the safety to show she wasn't playing around. A tall and slender male came out slowly. He had blond hair that came to his waist that was in a braid draped over his shoulder. He had piercing blue eyes and a claw on his right hand.

"Vega? What the h*ll are you doing here? And how did you get in here?" she asked going in a frenzy. He stepped forward and she cocked the gun back. He held up his hands in a surrendering manner. "I did not come here to fight…see," he said un-strapping his claw and setting it on the table. Chun-li relaxed a little. "Aren't you going to do the same", he asked. "Why"? She said still not trusting him. "Fair is fair, no"? He said. Chun-li realized he did have a point. Against her better judgement…she put the gun back in her handbag and sat it on the floor. "Why are you here." She asked. Vega moved a little closer to her until he was 2 ft away from her. "To talk" was his reply.

"Talk…you came here to talk", she asked her eyes wide.

"Yes".

"Why would I talk to you. Especially after our last encounter".

"Ah yes…I almost forgot."

"Yeah well I didn't. I should drop you were you stand"

"Do you really want to engage in a fight considering what I did to you last time"

Chun-li took about all she could. That last comment was the icing on the cake. She took a swing at Vega. He caught her fist and pulled her close. "Why must you always result in violence senorita"? he asked whispering.

"Why didn't you answer my question senor", she said pushing him away from her. She went over to her couch and sat down. Vega approached the couch she was sitting on. He took off his mask and looked down on her with sincere eyes. "I have quit Shadowlaw. And I want you to help me find my sister………………..
