Ryu's Most Understandable Nightmare

Ryu is inside the dojo that night. There are plenty of training equipment and belt colors he collect from the past. He is on the floor sleeping with his blanket and pillow.

*Dream starts*

It's 4pm late afternoon.

"Hey muscle man, how's it going pal."-Ken

"Nothing much, still training."-Ryu

"Really? You're getting much better than me. But you're still the same"-Ken

"Well I think so."-Ryu

"You know what, everyday, most magazines talk about you all the time, you've been keeping that #1 contender and been a champion on every tournament, but still you haven't accepted a reputation. It won't bother you, you have all that money, you can just get a car and a big house, maybe bigger than mines, you can get your own dojo replacing the one you leave at Gouken's so much , you can have Sakura to teach her more of the art."-Ken

"Well, I still don't feel like getting into those things yet, I don't really know what they mean for myself. I'm still learning more from the art and I'm not ready to be a master yet. You can let Sakura learn more of the art."-Ryu

"Hahaha, come on now, Sakura doesn't want me to teach her, she only wants you to teach her more of the art. I have Sean ,but he doesn't really understand why I'm the better man than you are, but losing to you on the 1st street fighter tournament is the only thing Sean still want to understand more about it."-Ken

"Well, I don't care. But still it's not time yet."-Ryu

"Until you defeat Akuma, right? Well what are you going to do after you beat Akuma?"-Ken

"I'll be finding other worthy opponent to test against me, I'm trying to reach that level."-Ryu

"Come on, you still don't understand there is more than just the fight. You have Sakura that wants you . Sean wants to learn how to use his fireball at will and you know who most thinks about you?"-Ken

"Who?"-Ryu

"Chun-li, she's quite the biggest prize of your life, you know, she's really the 2nd person that is always talked about on the fighting magazine next to me and you. "-Ken

"So?"-Ryu

"So, you'll be better than me if you keep up with her , she'll help you understand more than just the fight."-Ken

"I'm still not good to understand women, Chun-li might be hurtful if I say something..like what I don't know how to say it."-Ryu

"Oh please, why are you acting like you just sucked? You beat her father's killer...."-Ken

Ryu interrupts,"It was Akuma who defeated Bison!!"

"Well what about since you stopped Bison's mind control on me and you defeated him with that dragon punch?"-Ken

"I was distracted by the evil power within me.."-Ryu

"You learn to resist it."-Ken

"Yes, but it's not the way of a true master of shotokan. Killing isn't the way of being a true warrior."-Ryu

"Well you alright a true warrior, but maybe if I can fight you one more time, just as I did before since I gave you my red headband. I'm still going to be vote as the better man than you are."-Ken

Ryu ignores Ken and looks at the view of the beautiful ocean.

"Ryu, I'm just playing around, I'm not seriously hurting you, I'm just hyped, sorry. Look let me defeat Akuma for you."-Ken

"No! Ken, akuma isn't like Bison or Sagat, I know you beat Sagat on the 2nd tournament, but Akuma is more and alot like in my level ,but he cheats and can kill you. You don't have to worry about avenge our master's death, leave this to me, it's the only wish Gouken wanted. You have Mel and Eliza worrying about you ,that's your life."-Ryu

"I don't care, I can do the best I can, I'm the best and what I do, the one and only."-Ken

"Ken, Akuma don't care about other fighter's ego. He kills that's it, he is searching for the fight to perfecting his skills, much like me, but different, he is bad and can make you be his student of the dark arts if you lose to him."-Ryu

"Man, why should you face the big guns while I get the losers? I hope you have a future, because your lady is going to be with another man if you keep on being like that."-Ken

"She's not my lady, she's just my friend, I don't really know if she wants to be my lady."-Ryu

"AH ahaha, you never understand women. I'm helping you and you never listen to me just because you think I'm stupid!"-Ken

"What are you talking about?"-Ryu

"Look just be what you wanted to be, that's fine that's what your future will be."-Ken

"Ken what does a future means?"-Ryu

"You find out what it means. I'm no longing going to be around with you anymore, you just keep on shruggle like something going to happen to you, nobody perfect!"-Ken

Ryu leaves ,but is not happy about what Ken said to him.

"Where are you going?"-Ken

Ryu didn't answer..

Later, he lead against the wall, thinking about what his future shall be. Soon he heard something on the TV at the electronic stores.

"Hello this 11 news. We have a tradic story of the death of the former interpol agent and master of the Washu arts of China Chun-li. She's been killed by herself with a sharp knife. And only 3 witnesses saw the death of her."-reporter

Ryu is shocked to here this ,how can this happen?

"I can't believe this happens her, she's my best friend since we were little kids, she always play around with me like a little puppet and is like a big sister to me...She's beautiful, but no men ever interested her so much, but only one man do .Now she just put up this tragic way, it's not fair!!"-Feilong cried

"I know this is sad for Chun-li's life to end this way, she's been a kind teacher to me, as much as my grandfather teaches me."-Yang

"She's really beautiful as her mother and does a great job reaching the highest expections of my dojo , I was her master for along time since the death of my best friend Dorai . She keep up and is better tha what I thought she is, she always wanted to with the man she knows for years since I was defeated by that man along time ago."-Gen

Gen walks away with sad intentions.

"I now depart with you 2 my grandsons, you do the best you can do, my time around here is over, I can't escape from this terrible act , Chun-li is like a daughter to me.."-Gen

"You want to know who this man she always read the magazines and news about, his name is Ryu. Yeah , I know. Chun-li knows him when my grandfather and her went to Japan. You know ,Ryu is a pain in the *ss ,but I know, it's not nice to say, I'm sorry Chun-li to just hurt you on what you feel about Ryu. I promise not to be cocky again.."-Yun started to cry

"It's ok brother, she forgives you.."-Yang

"NNOO, this can't happen to my future! This isn't my future!!!"-Ryu

"Chun-li never think of killing herself if I'm not going to say something that I'm not good at saying, I ..I love her, forgive me Chun-li, I really Love you, it' just that I'm not ready for anything..yet.."-Ryu

Then a few men came around Ryu in ghostly appearances.

"hahahaha, you fought well, Ryu. I thought you're just a spoiling brat since you and I faced each other, now you are just a warrior as I am, thanks to you, you are too young to win that title the World's strongest, you never understand what that means about being the world's strongest!!"-Sagat

"I'm not soo crazy to be the World's strongest, I'm just learning my art, the way I can test myselfs,to find any worthy opponent...."-Ryu

"You did a good job to shut this stupid girl up, Ryu. You make yourself a good Shadowloo warrior. Remember you still have my offer, Hahahahahahah."-Bison

"NOOO, this is not how it goes!!! I never want to join any evil schemes!!"-Ryu

"Well you just joined one,Ryu. It's within the evil intent."-Akuma

"You controlled my mind on that garbage, Akuma. I don't like your way, it's not what a true shotokan master has to be. Killing is not the way!!"-Ryu

"Well you should of never listened to your master's wishes, he was a bigger fool than that foolish girl you met with. She makes you weak, now you're getting more weaker if you just don't stand there now, accept my offer or you will also be a fool like your master was. I'm glad you can defeated me. But you are still not ready. HAHAH"-Akuma

"My master wants me to be as better than he is, I'm reaching that level. I'm as good as him!"-Ryu

"You're as good as me? YOu quite disappointed me now , son."-Gouken

"Sensei!!?"-Ryu

"You are not a shotokan warrior anymore, you still haven't reached your goal yet, you need to understand that there is more than just the fight. Ken could of been my choice for my wishes, but now I'm getting tired of you."-Gouken

"You..You're not really my master, You care about me and you're the only one I cared about!"-Ryu

The earth started to quake and Ryu falls to the h*ll fire pits of death.

"NOOOOOOOO!!!"

"HAHAHAHAHAAHH!!"

*Dream ends*

"NOOO!"-Ryu

It is dawn now. Ryu is sweating so hard, he can't believe what he was dreaming it could be the worst nightmare he has.

"I..I don't know what to say about this...a future...reputation...whatever it means for me..I don't know how it feels to Chun-li..."-Ryu

Door knocks ,Ryu open it and it's Chun-li

"Hiya ,Ryu"-Chun-li

"Chun, what are you doing here?"-Ryu

"Oh I just came to visit you on christmas vacation."-Chun-li

"Oh, I see."-Ryu

"Are you ok, you feel sweating."-Chun-li

"Just.. had this terrible dream, it looks real, but I had to be in coma like or something, it's awful..."-Ryu

"How so?"-Chun-li

"It's about what will happen if I didn't accept a future. You see, I'm not so good understanding women like you,but you help me much to understand you, well, I'm not sure if I can say anything I want to say for you, I fear it might hurt you."-Ryu

"It's ok, you can say anything you like, I always understand you more than other men, you are my most attention for."-Chun-li smile

"Thanks, well, uh, Chun-li?"-Ryu

"What?"-Chun-li

"If I defeat Akuma, is it ok for me to just continue on searching for more worthyopponents and trying to reach the goal of being a true shotokan master?"-Ryu

"It's ok, you can do what you like after you defeat him, I just like to be with you all year. I quit interpol after Bison's defeat. It's all I have left for my life."-Chun-li

"Alright. Now there is something else that bothers me?"-Ryu

"What?"-Chun-li

"Would you be happy if I decide to use my reputation as the greatest champion of all in street fighing? I can get a big house and marry you, while I can still learn to know the meaning of the fight, I think I understand that there is more than just the fight."-Ryu smiled

"I'll be happy. P*ss, I'm the luckiest person to have you. But what about Sakura, are you going to let her train more of the art?"-Chun-li

"I will, but there are more ancient ways I must learn from, but I'll be a teacher for her,I'm also going to teach Sean about using his hadouken at will."-Ryu

"Great you'll make yourself happy about it and you're making me more happy about you. Everybody will be glad about what you're planning on."-Chun-li

"I hope it doesn bother my Master's wishes."-Ryu

"It won't, if you defeat Akuma, that's all there is to it for his wishes, he hopes you understand the meaning of the fight."-Chun-li

"Yes, you're right."-Ryu

"Well, let me fix you some good breakfast. Are you hungry?"-Chun-li

"I always have a temper on food, of course I'm hungry."-Ryu
